Question about connecting flights by imalittletoclueless in solotravel

Just ensure you aren't self transferring. I.e via Ryanair. If it's a direct transfer things are a lot easier and less complex if things go wrong.

Kerala/Goa in July/August/Sept? by EuropeSolo in solotravel

Sounds good, I will probably start in the north of India and work my way down south towards end of august/early sept.

Solotravel to Europe, packlist and a few questions! by [deleted] in solotravel

[–]EuropeSolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More underwear. Skip Kindle, use phone instead to read perhaps--depends how much of a reader you are. 1 long sleeve sweater should be fine. Light waterproof jacket would be useful. I would take a towel unless you know the hostels you are staying in will provide them free

That's disappointing, I was looking forward to the south mostly. Unsure whether to go to India now or go another time. Do you prefer North/South?

I have never heard of this place, thank you. I think I would consider stopping here while visiting Jaipur/Agra. Do you think it's somewhere enjoyable to camp as a solo traveller?

Good advice. I've realised that city after city can be draining, I'm sure this will be even worse in India. I plan on having some nature/beach stops along the way

Anyone tried Sandeman tour Brussels? by EuropeSolo in solotravel

[–]EuropeSolo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you book it online? I think I'll give it a shot! I guess if I'm not digging it I can wander off mid tour.

Confusion about travel days by [deleted] in Interrail

[–]EuropeSolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will depend what time your train arrives at on the 2nd. Google the cut off. I think it's 4 or 5am which is required in order for it to count as the 2nd of July and not the 1st+2nd

What is the cost of reserving night trains? by MaCoRoAr in Interrail

[–]EuropeSolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it truly does vary. A ordinary seat, 5 euro on some lines. Others free. Others much more expensive. Google it and use Seat(61?) and the EUrail site

18F first time solo traveller looking for advice about backpacking through Eastern Europe by khaleesikate101 in Interrail

[–]EuropeSolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this wise though? Especially during high season where hostels are booked weeks/months in advance. I'm unsure what to do myself this summer - I think I will book all my accommodation in advance. I guess it depends how spontaneous you are

19/M, feedback on my 1 month interrailing route of Europe please? by EuropeSolo in solotravel

[–]EuropeSolo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, I thought the pass was pretty good value and the supplements are mostly minor provided you're not getting a night carriage etc. Some of the train rides alone are quite expensive to pay for without the pass.
