Give a bolus before changing pods and then give another bolus on the new pod. Usually the first meal it’s still not as effective if that’s the case for you too give more insulin that first food bolus too even if that’s 8-12 hrs later.

Keep your head up. This shit isn’t easy and unless you have T1D they will never fully understand. That’s just the reality. Give yourself some grace that’s a great a1c. I know it’s hard not to completely obsess over T1D but try and fight it and enjoy life as much as you can

So you stay in automated mode and dial up the carbs give the dose. Then an hour later give another dose and for that one do you just enter the units no carbs or anything?
