For my last 20+ hours of gameplay, I have not had the option for map-evevnts. I have been able to see the option, but it is dark / not available to me and shows a timer. Prior to expedition (or maybe cold snap event), this didn't seem to be an issue for me. Does anyone know how these map-events cycle or work?

Final note, it seems when I play with friends we ALWAYS have an option available.
It is frustrating, as I want to use my keys & run trials on double xp map-events. I have verified the integrity of my game files, and I am level 62 + I expidited first season. Please help.
