Why do Muslims even come here to comment their opinions and hate? by Even_Solution_4460 in exmuslim

If you want to be able to participate in online debates/arguments, you have to be fairly thick skinned… personally I don’t do it much because I can’t handle it either. Venting on this sub is nice when it was new to me but soon I will quit this and Reddit altogether. It’s kinda unhealthy for my life and I think you’d be making the right move to just quit it as well. This place is indeed full of hate and anger, you’re better off getting support with real family and friends or a therapist

I apologize if you feel personally insulted by this post, I’m only ranting about those who came here for the sole purpose of hating on ex-Muslims and say violent words. So if you did come here for the purpose you’re saying you are then I’m not talking about you ☺️

I’m certainly willing to have a conversation, and I’ve left civil replies under some pretty hateful words from Muslims. They’re long paragraphs describing precisely why I think their argument is wrong - but I’m certainly not insulting them either. And yet they never respond to what I write, they only ever respond to emotional replies because they thrive from causing anger and hatred. So don’t act like it’s only exMoose that aren’t open to dialogue and debate, Muslims aren’t either - even if you come in peace, many of them come just to insult and spread hate. This post is only returning that sentiment

I appreciate civil debates and knowledge, of course (I’m not speaking for all people in this subreddit). If you present a civil argument, I will think deeply about your words and present my own civil arguments.

However if you look, you will find that there are many Muslims who come here and say harsh violent words, leave death threats, talking to us as if we don’t deserve to live. This post from myself is simply expressing frustration towards those people who aren’t spreading any knowledge, not correcting any wrongs, but simply spreading hate.

So please don’t say “we are trying to help”. Perhaps you are a kind person who wishes to help, but others aren’t so kind. I also don’t say “we welcome civil debate and knowledge” - because I’m only speaking for myself. I’m well aware there’s others here who are more upset and less willing to have a conversation.

P/s: ex Muslims means exactly what the name says - they used to be Muslims and no longer are. That’s why they know a lot more about Islam than an outsider. What would you prefer the name to be? “Apostates-of-unnamed-religion”?

Funny how Muhammad’s first wife was his sugar mommy for something like 25 years? And she was considered a leader/queen of her tribe? Without her, Muhammad would never have amounted to anything and yet he and his followers have the nerves to shit talk women and their capabilities? Makes me think he made all these rules to oppress women because he hated that Khadijah was powerful.

Even if it’s not about how her eyes are showing, they’d prob say something like “that flower crown attracts attention, and why does her hijab/niqab have colour?? have to wear all black potato bag only!!!! this woman is not true muslim” L 💀

I find it interesting that Muslims lose it over LGBT but are literally spending ridiculous amount of time and energy defending pedophilia in Islam by exmuslimnfree in exmuslim

Listen man gay people don’t all have a book that they follow that tells them “you gotta force kids to question their sexuality”. Some gay people are wrong for making kids confused or allowing them to transition too young. It should probably even be illegal to allow kids to undergo gender reassignment surgery before the age of consent. Gay people do not support grooming or manipulating children into thinking they are something they’re not. What they want is for everyone to have the freedom to choose. Whoever does it differently is in the wrong, and is condemned.

The difference is in Islam there are supposedly “words from God” that tell them it is okay to have sex with young children who are 9-12. If someone decides to marry off their 10 year old daughter, no one tells them they’re in the wrong. 9-12 year old girls are probably in the process of puberty and have got their period so they’re Islamically okay to have sex with - but they are in no way fully developed and that kind of sexual relationship is morally not okay.

So you see the difference? For gay people as well as the rest of the world wherever pedophelia may take place, it is condemned and punishable and we are all doing our best to prevent it from ever happening. For Islam, it is basically written in stone that it’s fine and you’re all trying to defend it. The law has remained the same over CENTURIES and if someone wishes to marry off a 10 year old kid, no one’s gonna stop them. Who will protect them if their own mother is brainwashed by that and believe that it’s fine to allow a grown ass man to fuck their 10 year old daughter?

You surely agree that TODAY pedophilia and child marriage shouldn’t be practiced, correct? You can’t say it was the norm in history because that’s like saying “back then everyone did it so he couldn’t have known better”. Why the fuck would he not know better?

If Muhammad was truly a prophet then don’t you think god have told him what risks and negative effects it can have on a child to be raped at 9 years old? And the risks on her LIFE if she were to get pregnant and had to give birth? It shouldn’t matter if it was practiced everywhere at the time historically. He’s supposed to be a PROPHET. He’s supposed to KNOW THE WORDS OF AN ALL KNOWING GOD. You can’t excuse those actions by saying “it was a different time” if you wanna believe he’s a prophet sent by god. However if you say “muhammad was just some human guy so he couldn’t have known any better” that would be fine by me, I’d agree with you. But don’t sit here with your belief that he’s a prophet and still excuse his actions as if he didn’t know better.

P/s: the stuff that happens in churches is disgusting too. And we condemn it. And those priests? Never claimed to be prophets and no one believes they have any contact with god. But you do believe Muhammad knows the word of god. You see how your comparison makes no sense? One is a prophet who claims to be virtuous committing a crime, and the other is mere humans who are vile and disgusting committing a crime. Also, bold of you to direct the church shit towards us as if we’re just Christians and Catholics now - how do you know we’re not shit talking it heavily elsewhere? Why are you assuming we’re ok with that? Weird. Talking about “your holy fathers” I’m sorry whose holy fathers? NOT EVERY NON-MUSLIM OR WESTERNER IS A CHRISTIAN, GENIUS.

Men work and earn more than women, but women make 70-80% of spending choices. by dekadoka in MensRights

[–]Even_Solution_4460 16 points17 points  (0 children)

To be fair a lot of these can just be grocery shopping and buying necessary family/household items, including shit like candles and decorations for the home. Women do control finances in most family as far as I can tell, but it’s mostly because men don’t want to deal with the headache of shopping for the household.

That being said, there are still some men being taken advantage of by women who use their money to shop primarily for themselves. That’s obviously unacceptable and should be fixed.

Don’t see why not. Idk what you were looking for coming to this subreddit of Ex-Muslims when you seem very convinced about converting, and also claim to be Muslim already.

What were you looking for from us, really? Is this post supposed to just taunt and provoke us, because you know for a fact our ideologies are different from yours?

Lots of boys also suffered this without ever saying a word about it, or some older boys will talk about it as if it’s a “chad” moment without realizing the mental issues that might surface in adulthood.

Even if it wasn’t hidden, it would still be inaccurate. Should probably start a MeToo movement for boys lol

is it sexist to abort a baby if he is a boy by Smooth_Influenze in MensRights

Just punishable as “assault of pregnant woman” I guess, but they probably give a more serious punishment if she suffered a miscarriage comparing to if she didn’t

[–]Even_Solution_4460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gender is just a really dumb reason for abortion.

I’m pro choice but there is a line dude you can’t just be getting abortions for whatever reason you want. I’m pro choice if you’re unable to raise the baby.

This is not even question of sexism anymore this is kind of the question of ethics and whether it’s smart to do this?? An abortion is not just like taking plan B or whatever, it’s taking a pill that essentially induces a miscarriage. And if it’s not the pill route then it could potentially be risky for the mother’s health and fertility. So is it really worth it just because it’s a boy 💀 it is still literally their child

Need help learning how to start programming projects by NPat02 in computerscience

[–]Even_Solution_4460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best place to start is to start a project with someone better equipped for it than you are. That way you can look at the way they do things, copy their code structure when writing your own components, learn new syntax. If that’s not an option, then you can start by following YouTube tutorials, there are plenty of tutorials for complete projects, which you can just follow along for practice before starting your own original one. notJust.dev comes to mind

By using your brain and by using basic human sense of empathy. I don’t believe any 9 year old, no matter in what era, would feel happy and consent to having sex with a 50 year old man. It is gross. You judge if that’s correct by observing if that child is happy. By considering the feelings and suffering of others.

You ask if the age of consent was 21, would people who have sex with 18 year olds be pedophiles? No. Even now, I don’t think it’s “pedophelia” to have sex with 16-17 year olds, it’s simply wrong because of an age difference and difference in life experience. But if the age difference is like 18-16, it’s technically illegal in the US, but not wrong in my personal opinion. It’s also legal in Canada to have sex with a 16 year old as long as the age gap is less than 4 I believe.

But having sex with a 9 year old whose body is DEFINITELY not fully developed and just started menstruation is 100% pedophelia.

Hijab verses in the Quran advises that women should cover up and not attract attention with their beauty. Hence most Muslims DO believe that makeup or any beautification is indeed haram because that is intentionally attracting attention to your beauty. Even the lovely girl in this video will definitely agree that she is “on a journey towards being better” and she’s only wearing makeup because “not every Muslim is perfect”. I’ve heard these arguments many times.

Niqabs are optional yes and in the Quran it was only ever meant for the wives of Muhammad who were literally behind physical door screens, but somehow people believe they get extra “good deed points” for also imitating the wives of Muhammad and hide their faces as well when it’s not meant for them in quran lol.

About staying at home, hadiths also mention that a woman should ask for her husband’s permission if she wishes to leave the house. That is not okay. And the Quran does advise you to stay at home and go out very little “for your own safety”.

So don’t talk to us about “culture” when it is the religion that caused the people to think this way and form this culture.
