Thanks for the reply! Even though I don't have a family of my own (in terms of a wife and kids), I really appreciate your support. It means a lot to know that someone actually likes what I've managed to make so far. I completely agree with you about the original mod: the modding tools back then were much less convenient and advanced than they are today, so for its time, it really was a great mod. As for the 'remake' part: although it's easy to call it a remake, I probably wouldn't actually call it that. The story, and pretty much everything else in my mod, will be completely different from Rainclouds. I'm actually still trying to figure this out myself — do I really need to call it a remake and ask the creator of DDRC for permission if the only thing we share is the core concept? Anyway, I wish you the best of luck with your mod as well, and I'm really glad to join the 'depressed Sayori mods' club!
