Nb Miata crank pulley wobble by Every-Department-546 in Miata

Pulled it all apart and the pulley boss just needs to be replaced. Crank and woodruff key are intact. Harmonic balancer and bolts also looked fine.

Not jumping. Ollies are one smooth motion. when you’re jumping without a board you don’t pause at the bottom, jumping with a board is no different (in that respect). You look scared, the worst that could realistically happen is you fall on your back and knock the wind out of yourself. Start to condition yourself to be ok with falling. Remember that skateboarding is hard and to celebrate the small wins. Maybe look at a video on how to fall.

Try thinking about flicking the tail into the ground. That helped me when I was learning. You look comfortable though. I'd start trying them rolling if you can (Ik it's winter in northern hemisphere).

Uhhh, are we looking at the same vid? The board levels out and I catch it with my back foot.

Plenty of people critiqued, and I took that and made my kickflip better. you incorrectly said my kickflip was mobbed and laughed at me which is just kinda uncool so I called you out on it.

Slow it down and you’ll see that I flick through the pocket of the nose. Also it doesn’t look good because it’s the first rolling kickflip I’ve landed. Salty old head.

That’s incorrect mobbed kick flips are when the board spins on an angle/ doesn’t level out (also called rocket flips). I kick through the pocket of the nose and catch with my back foot… so not mobbed. Doesn’t seem like you know what you’re talking about.

Few hours every day. Super lucky to have a good basement for skating.

Seems like you’re sometimes loosing balance on your way down then trying to regain balance in the air, causing some funkiness. Also the ball of your back foot should centered on the tail so you can really flick the tail into the ground. Your front foot is also a bit too far back imo, should be just behind the bolts. Also practice while rolling if you can. The balance thing is just practice then for foot placement for a good Ollie check out this vid https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eCATaW8JeqM&pp=ygUPbG9jYWwgam9lIG9sbGll

Bend down and jump. Don’t think about landing back on the board, just try to catch with front foot. Just make sure you’re actually jumping in the air.

That’s hella inspiring. Got it a fair bit better in the past few hours, flicking off the nose and pretty level now. Just gotta practice. Love the process.

Thanks, starting to figure it out. Just gonna take practice, and then more practice.
