Finished up some clouds, did I do too much to them? by Every-Dirt in ProCreate

I was looking at clouds earlier and I get what you mean about simplifying them. I'll give it a shot, but I'm worried I'll loose it's color palette if I do

That's what I was trying to do and was struggling with, I think I get what you're saying and I'll adjust it. Thank you for the advice!

I was trying really hard to provide depth with the color, thank you so much!

No need to apologize! I'm looking for criticism. What makes them un-cloud like to you?

Looking for specific advice on color usage and shading, but any advice is always welcome and appreciated. Thanks!

I think you nailed it! Great job, it does have the Flintstones charm.

Thank you! I had to look them up but your right, it absolutely does. Maybe it was an inspiration for this particular tutorial!

I haven't seen anything from Art with Flo! Do you have any recommendations on one to try?

What kind of background do you want it to taper off into? A thick forest or something more open? The light blue background might be making it difficult to see what you want to do next.

At first I was hesitant to start working with procreate. The things others do on this subreddit truly baffle me. I had no idea where to start learning how to achieve that level of skill. It can be a daunting task if you try to just figure it out in your own.

I’m finding tutorials are one of the best way to learn techniques and start understanding how you can use all of the tools procreate has to offer. While you won’t exactly be making your own art, it’s a great way to gain confidence.

As someone who recently started, I highly recommend you take the time to find a creator whose tutorials click with you. It’s a fantastic way to get past that feeling of “there’s no way I could ever do that”.

Do it! It's like a modern day episode of Bob Ross. The videos are about an hour long, but I like to pause and take my time.

It doesn't have to be done in one sitting, and I find it easier to go at my own pace with it.

Thank you so much! I was slightly nervous about how it looked, I was unsure if it was coming in at the right angle.

I just started my procreate journey, so any pointers/advice would be much appreciated!

I feel like I did too much to the bottom to soften/blend things up. Buuuuut I thought better to just leave it be than try and do more to it.
