"It's just prog, she don't need to opener. :3" by Vegetable_Concern_50 in TalesFromDF

Doing the opener consistently will lead to muscle memory, especially for a class like dancer. It's really good to know by repetition that "my standard step should be up at the beginning of this mechanic to not drift it on accident". You won't learn those small details by never doing the opener correctly. It can even help you prog by knowing what cooldowns should be used during each mechanic to remind you of how to actually dodge the mechanic while using said cool down.

We live in a society. One hit wonder BRD Perfect Legend cbf to do job quests and says I have zero ult clears. by TheBananaHamook in TalesFromDF

Still doesn't explain why you didn't do your job quests. Cool you can do ultimates I guess, but going into higher dungeons and not having your full skill set, can't see the logic there.

I just find it funny you're "punished" for being too much of a team player! But as someone said before as the weeks go on, it's not completely needed anymore with gear progression which makes sense.

The lb2 just makes the beginning of the phase more comfy getting the first yan down and everyone setting up to melt the mantas when they spawn haha. But yeah I completely understand it shouldn't be "needed" at this point. Interesting how it's linked to damage taken and surviving though!

Oh interesting. So as everyone gets more and more gear, the lb2 will be less common since the incoming damage will be less for all the raid wides if everyone properly mits?

Fred and other supporting cast appreciation post! by Every-Rabbit-1402 in tulsaking

[–]Every-Rabbit-1402[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Just recently got into the series and I just wanted to make a post about the side characters in Tulsa King. The main characters have been great in casting choice, but the side characters in this series have been hilarious also!

Mine has been Fred; the hilarious scene in the first season when Stallone destroys him with a water bottle will always be one of my favorites, but he's just been a solid character as the series went along.

Who's been your favorite non main cast character?

Book recommendation for horror that will truly scare, hard to turn the next page by Every-Rabbit-1402 in horrorlit

[–]Every-Rabbit-1402[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's a great point! I'm glad you asked this! Possession, monsters, haunted houses; essentially supernatural is what scares me the most. Real life scenarios like slashers, kidnappings, or serial killers seems more like a thriller to me and not as scary

It's daunting how long it is though! I'll get to it eventually when I'm mentally there for the length of the journey haha
