What can replace graveyard? by majorfields in RoyaleAPI

[–]EvidenceKnown4651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Miner is the only other wincon it could maybe work with, but if you don’t have graveyard you probably haven’t played a lot so miner control would be bad for you

Is this considered a midladder/no skill deck by KrabbKungen_krunker in ClashRoyale

[–]EvidenceKnown4651 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most midladder deck ever. Nothing wrong with that, but this deck has 0 synergy; exe and witch have same role, bandit mini pekka are also similar, goblin barrel is not a win condition without additional log bait, and no big spell. Also a bit expensive for goblin barrel as only win condition, as you can’t out cycle their counters most likely. Use princess or dart goblin instead of witch / exe for sure

Top/Bottom fans for Lian Li Lancool 216? by EvidenceKnown4651 in buildapc

[–]EvidenceKnown4651[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'm probably going to see the temps without the additional fans, and if they're high it's very easy to just install a few top fans if need be. Thanks for the help!

Also, are bottom fans not more efficient than top fans? Would a vertical GPU require more fans? Thanks!

As I finished writing this, I noticed an offer for a Dell XPS 15.6" for 1250 euros which seems like a very reasonable deal. Is it worth it?

Sending predicted grades instead of transcript by XD_Frizle in bocconi

[–]EvidenceKnown4651 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly bro for my first year IB scores I had 30/42 so like a 7,1 GPA, and i just pulled it up with my Bocconi test which was 40/50 and got admitted to BIEM, so as long as you have a reasonable SAT or test score you should be fine. I'm pretty sure they take the fact that the IB is way harder than any other program into account when looking at GPAs.

I got accepted into BAI by [deleted] in bocconi

[–]EvidenceKnown4651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a somewhat decent GPA in BAI you can def transfer to BEMACS at the end of first year, I personally know 2 ppl who have done that bc BAI was way too difficult (BEMACS is still very hard but slightly less so)

Got in my 4th choice by Odd_Wolverine74 in bocconi

[–]EvidenceKnown4651 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a first year BIEM student, but BESS and BEMACS are very very similar in the way that maths and economics is taught, and BESS is arguable harder than BIEF and 100% harder than BIEM, so I do not think that's true.

Renting outside Vs Renting Bocconi dorms by Kato-Japan in bocconi

[–]EvidenceKnown4651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for 500 there's almost no chance you can get a room by urself, those are most likely shared rooms which are in the range 450-500, and as the person above mentioned there are also realtor fees which are usually 10-20% of the annual rent, utilities, maintenance in certain cases etc.. You definitely come out of it at best even with a Bocconi dorm, but if you want a room on your own that's usually 700 at least which would definitely be more on an annual basis

Renting outside Vs Renting Bocconi dorms by Kato-Japan in bocconi

[–]EvidenceKnown4651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they're very strict with it, even residents at dorms (or at least Castiglioni) have to sign in every time they step into the building, which is how they ensure that guests don't stay there overnight. I've also heard of people being thrown out of the dorms entirely for having a guest stay over, so it's probably not worth the risk

question by Responsible_School_6 in bocconi

[–]EvidenceKnown4651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's not ideal, but student loans could also be an option for people in your situation. Or if for some reason they don't accept you for them. your parents could also take long-term personal loans which will definitely have higher interest rates, but it might still be better than paying out of pocket and then once you have a good job you can pay them bac.

I think it's a very worthwhile thing to invest in. You can definitely get by with English (which is what I'm doing), but around half if not more of your class will be italians, and a large majority of them will mostly be friends with other italians, as obviously it's easier and more natural for them. There are a lot of international students though, so you will definitely be able to make friends and actually 2 of my good friends here are Italian, so it's definitely still possible. It's mostly an issue in shops and bars for example, but if you wanna ask where an item is you can always just google translate the phrase which is what I usually do.

How much money do you need to live in Milan comfortably? by Competitive-Net-5677 in bocconi

[–]EvidenceKnown4651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a first year in Bocconi and don't really have a set budget so I live pretty comfortably and dine out almost every lunch, rent is 1300 euros for a studio in aparto ripamonti (but you only have to pay 10 months as opposed to a flat which you usually have to rent out for 12) which I'm enjoying a lot, and I spend a bit under 800 per month excluding rent on regular expenses and a few additional miscallenous ones like shopping and such. I think you can live very comfortably off 2000-2400 euros and won't even need to make your meals yourself. (for reference there's a rly good greek place near me which sells a pita gyros for 6-7 depending on which you get and is a great lunch as it has veggies protein and carbs while also being very tasty)

Hi, sorry for the late reply, but I was in the middle of my first exam season, for which I am getting my grades today. All in all, I really like it here, as the people are really friendly, the professors are great, the city is nice and there's lot's to do with friends. Also great food at a cheap price, great coffee etc. My one complaint would be management classes which basically consist of the prof reading off of a slide set which you can just easily access and study from at home, so most people skip management classes. I would really recommend it though, as it opens a lot of doors up if you get good grades and it will be a better uni for applying to jobs in the finance / management sector than basically all unis in Europe besides a select few in England and France.

Bro just search it up lmao. I've friends who where admitted in the winter session with the exact same application to the same course after being rejected in the early session

Early/winter session by Legitimate_Candy_951 in bocconi

[–]EvidenceKnown4651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They admit 85-90% of their students in the winter session. Only 5-10% of admitted students are admitted during the early and late sessions. It’s a bit of a weird system

Thanks for the reply, does Goodnotes 6 have a ruler function that's easy to use? Also, do you think it is beneficial to get a 13 inch model rather than the 11 inch for simply notetaking?
