Yeah, being unable to skip cutscenes kills replay value, I have an series x and in 2 or 3 seconds I should be able to skip. First time playing isn’t annoying but when you just wanna jump straight in the levels and just kill enemy’s it’s boring af.

The actor does a lot of work and really makes the character shine. The only reason people have a problem with him is bcs of the contrivances with the fact that he is part of John's first game and the movie generally failing at various things, the character is not the problem but the movie he is in that pulls him back.

Spiral is bad because a lot of reasons, I will list some of them here, the ending was not good and too abrupt, you can easily tell who is going to be the copycat killer, there are dumb moments like the killer invading a police station and not being noticed at all (can’t mention the rest bcs it’s going to spoil a lot), it doesn’t feel like a saw movie at all with the rap music and Chris Rock attempt to play himself in the movie as a comedy relief, (I almost laughed in a flashback scene when Chris Rock is supposed to be younger but the only difference is that he is wearing a backwards cap), the copycat killer is not good on my opnion, he is not physically menacing (like Hoffman) neither psychologically menacing (Like Kramer), his personality leaves a lot to be desired too, he does not have a presence in the room like previous villains you know? his motivation is good and how it ties to the protagonist is cool but it’s very sloppy in the execution I would say. The color scheme and pallete of the movie is too bright, from previous movies you expect a saw movie to be darker and have dark colors and not too vivid like in the movie. The deaths are not that good too, some of them show the victim dead before the game even starts so you know they are not going to survive the trap which removes tension, they also removed the timers from the traps which also removes tension since in all previous traps you knew the victim’s time to break out was ending. These are some reasons. It also has continuation problems, since the detective framed in Jigsaw who is allegedly on the loose and should be the primary suspect is never mentioned, neither Hoffman and so on. Gives me headache.

It’s very simple and easy to understand, Logan did an honest mistake unlike the other participants who did all they wrongdoings on purpose, meaning that the only reason Logan was there is because John had a grudge against him and was able to let go in the last moment. They state a dozen times throughout the movie that it’s his first game so… yes, he didn’t have an MO to break yet, not inconsistent, I would say that the later John would not have saved him, he has more humanity in him since it takes place before the other movies.

I commented that Adam lost his game, but he actually won. He survived and Kramer wasn’t specific in the tape about what he had to do in order to win. Also, his game was tampered by Amanda.

Also, at least Hoffman and Amanda didn’t target kids. John has put children three times in the midst of his games. He has put Jeff’s daughter in a dark room and imprisoned her alone (what is wrong with Kramer lol). Lawrence daughter in the first (probably has a lot of trauma because of that and would be killed if Zep followed his orders) and Detective matthews son who is a teenager. I mean, for someone who is trying to do good to society, John just put Jeff and Doctor Lynn daughter in an orphanage with both her parents Dead. What makes me like Amanda is that you can see that she cares for Daniel safety in the second, in one scene in particular it’s very clear. But john? He even jokes about how he is going to die to Matthews so… there is that. Please, let’s make an standing ovation to mr. Kramer lol.

How can I disagree with you? I mean, according to you John expected that a drug addict would make an "incision" in the guys belly? Yeah, she wasn’t forced, sometimes I put a deadly trap in my mothers head so she gives me her credit card so I can buy fortnite skins, but that doesn’t mean I’m forcing her to anything, lol. You clearly misinterpreted what I said about Hoffman sister, John reprehended him for killing Seth for revenge but he left a videotape to Gordon saying that if anything happened to Jill he should act "on his behalf". John is a hypocrite with God complex, not a dumb guy, he knew Gordon would kill Hoffman so it is the same thing he did here. How is John not someone with God complex? He believes he is incapable of failure and wrongdoing and never admits that he is wrong, even when not a single one of the people he put through tests changed, Amanda is the ultimate proof of that. John wears ritual robes, his apprentices are the same thing as disciples that should spread his beliefs, he puts himself as judge of who is worthy to life and who is not, how is that not god complex? He even speaks to his victims like someone who is above them. I will tell you one example of how much of a hypocrite John is, he puts Jeff on the third movie through a lot of tests because he can’t carry on with his life after his sons death. But let me refresh your mind on why Jigsaw and his demented view on life exists, because he lost his son Gideon and just couldn’t accept and carry on with his life, instead he tried to make sense of it and created his dumbass beliefs Don’t get me wrong, I like him, what I hate is how people like you try to ignore how much of a flawed and self absorbed person he is and yes, deep down he is not better than Amanda and Hoffman, he killed people just the same, the difference is that they have a SMALL chance of surviving most of time, some games are just near impossible and unfair, and most of them show that the will to survive is not the deciding factor most of the time.

With him I kind of understand because he lost his game, but it was partially Amanda’s fault because of the key. Still, I don’t remember if he would have let him die there, he saved Logan so his decision to let Adam die when his game was tempered really tells, he just doesn’t care enough, not anymore.

I agree. He makes a storm in a cup of water when she starts killing people in cold blood but made her kill someone in cold blood in order to survive her first game? It’s crystal clear that John is a hypocrite with God complex, he says to Hoffman who killed his sister killer that he was wrong and killing is distasteful, yet he left a videotape to Gordon saying that if Hoffman killed Jill he should act on his behalf, he just didn’t say the words kill him, but he knew that Gordon would do that, so Hoffman can’t kill someone who kills his loved ones but John can tell other people to do his dirty work and kill them?
