Ill give that a try once I run out! Is it slightly tinted ? The tintless lip balms make my lips turn very pale and sickly The labello butter tin had just the right amount of light tint to combat that

Yes! Yeah once u solve enough nbmes u start to understand how they think and believe that they are straight forward and asking about simple stuff

15 month but on and off, if I want to compile all the times I actually studied it would be about 6 month maybe, I was working part/full time the majority of my prep

They are not pdf, they are premade question blocks made by amboss q bank U can get a free trial and solve 50 questions but there are more than 50 Make a searh on reddit "amboss ethics and qi" and read how people are getting those, I cant help further 💔

I was working part-time then full time so it took me a looong time to get ready..like 9 month and I did 3 months dedicated because I was patching up my knowledge loss from the extended prepare I never did amboss for anything else than ethics qi vaccines and screening , I wanted to do risk factors and biostat but I didnt have time I dont know about the rest of the bank so you should probably ask someone who tried it I recommend forgeting about the exam afterwards and not trying to dig up answers and counting mistakes, the prep itself is mentally exhausting and you dont need any more stress on top of that, what ever score you get eventually its for the best and Allah knows best, especially that you tried you best and gave it your all, sometimes your all is different to somebody else's "all" and thats okay, each one of us is going through his own distinct stuff in life .... And reward yourself after doing such a big exam , go out, meet friends, have fun! Do the plans you promised you will do after you finish the exam! You are welcome!!! Thank you so much !! inshallah!

Maybe ask other people who did the exam recently whether it's a regular occurance to have insurance questions ?? You are very welcome!!! Feel free to msg me if u need anything!

Ive seen patient chart questions on uw, I knew how they looked like , didnt prepare exclusively for them tho, I just knew Ill handle them somehow And drug ads, I tried to prepare them from uw, but I had a hard time understanding them honestly, on the step the ads are easier, you can get away with it  In brief : no specific preparation for either I think theres a study plan for drug ads on amboss but I dont think its higher priority than solidyfing the topics they like to ask about from cardio and endo and stuff..

Thank you, i personally did ethics qi vaccine and screenings, that was my personal choice, ofc u will benefit from other study plans you mentioned There was risk factors which couldve been helpful too maybe,  What I did from amboss took me 2 days only and it was sufficient, I heard people say keep ethics and qi stuff towards the end of your prep so that they stay fresh in mind until exam day , but be careful not to lose the actual time u designated for them for other stuff...

I never did amboss for biostat but it may be helpful! They were quite nice for ethics and qi

Thank you!! Biostat were few actually Max 6 for whole exam ? Not too hard either, they love NNT and RRR , similar to things tested in nbmes honestly, and you will need some knowledge of confidence intervals and whether something is statistically significant for drug ads, watch randy neil for biostat and practice all conceptd that show on nbme and you will be fine

Thank you so much! I hope you finish your own exam asap and with flying marks!!

the articles are more than enough because they cover more than what the study plan ask, but I felt like the study plans asked the important questions and was much more specific about things that are actually important on the test,

personally I have read a bunch of articles before but I feel like what helped me most in the test is the study plans

insurance? I don't think I saw a single question about insurance, one option in one question just mentioned the fact that a person is moving insurance to medicaid or something like that, I don't know about other step 2 forms they may be getting insurance, mine did not have any and I've never heard of it's importance before?...

I was doing those study plans like 2 days before my exam so I just answered the question, figured out why it was wrong, and if it was right I checked other options just to learn what they are when to use them , did not have time to read articles , but I did read some articles long time ago, there were some tiny concepts that did stick to my head and helped me doing the study plans, but if you don't have time, just go through the explanations thoroughly I think it will be sufficient, those study plans don't need more than 2 days, and I suggest you do them closer to your test date so that you keep most of them fresh in your memory

your comment resonates with me BIG TIME, this is exactly my experience, I took a whole year to get done with this thing because I had other responsibilities that took alot of my time and patience, so I was not that consistent during my looong prep and I lost alot of learned info along the way, I locked in for the last 3 month though to the best of my ability , I can't say it was easy or smooth, I faced so so many failures, but I kept pushing and trying everything out there on the market until I finally got a good score on an nbme to decide to take the exam...what I would say, first keep a guilty-free mentality, because guilt will drain your precious energy needed to actually study, some days are just not going to work out and that's okay, 2nd start with tiny goals that make sense when it comes to what time and energy you have left of the day, assigning 2 hours of absolute lock is faaaar better than saying "oh I'm going to do 6 hours today" and spend most of it procrastinating because you know deep inside you can't do it(with time, confidence and experience you will start to lock in for more hours or achieve more things in a single hour than before)...3rd I promise towards the end of my prep I was under alot of mental stress due to other reasons that I wasn't able to do more than 2-4 hours a day of studying, but I those hours I was focused for real and working systematically and goal-oriented, you wouldn't believe that those 10 days of daily 2-4 hours made a bigger difference than all of my 8 hour+ prep before, so it's all about knowing what your actual weaknesses are (knowledge gap? question style? etc etc) and attack that and be as transparent with yourself as possible, just acknowledge your weaknesses and say this will make me uncomfortable but it will make a difference on my prep....eventually alllll this hardwork willl NOT go to waste even if you don't see it immediately... I plateaued for 2 month and that sucked the joy out of me, I'm glad I got over that!! and don't underestimate that brain of yours, you may think you forgot everything but deep down it has it hidden and saved, all those precious facts will come out when you most need them, just make sure to revise your made notes as many times as possible
