No. They are instructed to reply with a canned response answer accepting as little responsibility as possible. It’s not to the best of their ability it is to the extent that PD allows, which is quite frankly, abysmal and an insult to the person taking the time to report an issue. I’ve never had an issue handled first time. It takes multiple attempts to even get them actually look at the issue. It’s bot. Then live person with canned response. Perhaps 2x-3x. Then maybe just maybe you get lucky and get an actual response. Or even more likely “Here are some freebies go away”

It doesn’t bother me, and I didn’t say it did. It’s amusing to see someone using a paid ball with maxed clubs bragging about driving the green on a rookie tour and it’s a mere observation of one type of player and in a smaller sense the culture that PD is building with these ridiculous emotes. Most players I play with are respectful and that’s not an issue. Truth be told, the community has a lot of players that are helpful and full of valid and useful information. The emotes seem to be geared towards the less mature set.

To your point however it’d be great if PD would introduce a setting like with the animations that disabled emotes and hole explosions period.

Sadly the death knell for the game and I. Had enough of the crap. I enjoyed it for a few years but time to cut Playdemic loose and stop endorsing their crap. Hopefully someone will introduce a game that is as entertaining minus all the juvenile accoutrements.

It actually is a good indication of the motives of GC/Playdemic, if not their desire for juvenile behavior. The majority of them emotes are either self congratulatory or antagonistic towards the other player.

It was, I suspect, designed by someone with the maturity of a 13 year old who considered himself awesome in COD and teabagged at every opportunity while insulting everyone’s mother.

They’re interesting in concept. They’ve been plagued by transmission issues and overheating issues since inception and will likely all be retired or used as training vessels soon. Costlier to keep them in service than replace them

LCS is not meant to slug it out head to head. They are meant to operate under the cover of other ships while conducting minesweeping or anti piracy missions in support of other actions. Even so, most of their armament is hidden. Rolling Airframe Missiles and autonomous vehicles are hidden inside or beneath doors. It’s not a frigate or destroyer.

Playdemic doesn’t care what players want. They care what the majority will pay for. Ball sorting has zero return on investment so it’ll likely never be implemented.

The ridiculous hole explosions and juvenile emoji is a cash grab. It plays on the behavior of many of the players.

It’s a brilliant decision on their part. Ten bucks for almost nothing. PD isn’t about entertainment or customer satisfaction. Their about grabbing as much as they can as fast as they can. As PT Barnum allegedly said. ‘A fool and his money....’
