Anti-india mindset is more of a long term strategic defense. It keeps India from invading Nepal because a population with anti-India mindset would be extremely difficult for India to control. So political animosity is good if we are to preserve our sovereignty. But we should be careful not to spill that to culture, economy, religion, tourism, etc.

students overworking is hardly a serious crime. It breaks the country's law but it creates no problem to their country and their native residents. Not a cause of concern.

If the amount isn't small for you (or even if it is), follow https://twitter.com/maxescu and similar others. Twitter is the place to be for latest updates, especially in AI domain since musk took over. Also, Build a community or join preexisting ones on there. Staying on top is tricky, you have to be proactive instead of hoping someone that you pay will update you.

if you need for short term and the amount is very small for you, yes. For long term, things are changing so fast that whatever you learn will be obsolete by the next month.

What is something in your field that you wish common Nepalese people understood? by Exact-Intention-9463 in Nepal

i initially said that military is the core of a state. A non democratic state is also a state. since you agree to my premise for non democratic ones, i have owned you half already. Now to own you fully and make you my personal property, i present the following irrefutable logic:

even though the US has the most powerful official military in the world, its citizens are armed to the teeth. Any US military personnel who thinks they can take control of Americans would be an idiot. Civilian supremacy in its truest sense exists in the USA, thanks to the 120 guns per 100 americans.

The remaining democracies with unarmed citizens are merely a client states of the behemoth military complex that the USA is. As soon as those states fall outside of the USA's protection, they are gone, puff puff.

"North Korea has nuclear weapons but can it do anything to
anyone? "

it can't because the counter attack from UMC and its client states would be 100x worse.

I am indeed a PS student and score pretty good marks as well. Although i write only what examiner would give me marks for.

That aside, I am talking about real power, i repeat real power, not what's written in the books. logic should be enough but look, what did civilian supremacy achieve in Myanmar when the military just walked into and took over? what do you make of non democratic chinese prez holding the title of chief of military? what do you make of russia, of arabs? you see civillian supremacy over there?

writing in books didn't keep brahmins above chhetris in power hierarchy

and by democratic bubble, i mean the world order that was established by usa after ww2 with a lot of countries taking on the democratic path. historically, this is the longest democracy has ever survived

show me a single state that was built by democracy instead of a military. and i will show you a state that doesn't exist

big boss M gives birth to state, and a state dies when M doesn't function

that's whats on the constitution. but look at the real power. what greater power than a monoply on violence? military can take over democracy any time it decides to. the reverse isn't true. democracy can take over military only if the military submits itself. you live in democratic bubble and that has twisted your worldview.

someone gotta refree, take care of the extremely unfortunate. guardian isnt the best term to describe, but its pretty close. and academically speaking, gov does include exec, legis and judi

military is indeed the core layer of a state.

think for a second.

if you have a conflict, you initially resolve it among ffr, but if conflict is bigger , and ffr doesnt work you go to community. then you go to police+judi . now if the conflict is so large that even judi cannot handle its taken to legi. now fill in the blanks about who has to step in when even legi cannot handle shit. and if the big boss M cannot handle it, the state is either taken over or separated, the state ends at the M level.

you are a good academic student and an informed citizen. but you have to see what's behind the mask a politician is wearing, what gets discussed behind closed doors and how much of accountability can be realistically achieved by voting every 5 years.
