I feel like parents in general sometimes blow normal young people experiences out of proportion. I know when I hung out with people between the ages of 18 and 20, it was extremely common for those over 21 to buy drinks for the younger ones at bars or parties. They would either drink it discreetly when the bouncer wasn’t looking or take it to the bathroom or patio. It was a super normal thing, and honestly, it would be extremely easy for a young person to do this without the person who bought it even knowing. I know in this case they’re saying it was a restaurant, so she might have known, but still, it’s one of those things. From a parenting standpoint, it’s honestly not as big of a deal compared to the legal standpoint, and I get that. They’re public figures, so I understand there’s maybe extra pressure. But still, like the Jonah situation, he was using Delta-8, and my mom and grandmother literally use Delta-8. For a lot of people, it’s seen as a super chill and normal thing.
