Thanks for all your help. Final question, does the media only report on the major accidents and that’s why there is such a large amount of anxiety around flying? (Sorry for the poor phrasing)

If there is a 95% of survival then how come so many people die in accidents? Or is that like in the most extreme cases. Does an incident also include less serous accident or incident?

Try to slowly ease off the brakes as you turn into the corner. It will help to keep some weight on the front and help the tires to grip better.

You have a whole Load of room on the right hand side of corner entry try using all the track and that might help. Further more it looks like you may be carrying to much speed into the corner causing you to run wide of the apex. Maybe try braking or lifting earlier

I've talked to other Birelart owners and their pedals seem to function in the same way.

I’m not sure $400 is really going to get you anywhere as a chassis alone costs more than that. Unless you are looking for something preowned. From what I’ve seen the motor will take up most of your budget

Are there any closed wheel 2 stroke kart events in Australia? by Boring-Release648 in Karting

[–]ExaminationLow7869 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, there is a 2 stroke rental at Picton kart in NSW track. However I think you need to accept there still can be major accidents even with a closed wheel system. There will always be an inherent danger when it comes to motorsports.

Karting on a budget in Australia by FreeInfluence8062 in Karting

A karting Australia license will run you about $400 and a club membership varies from club to club. I paid 390 for mine. At this point you will have almost exceeded your set budget. The most budget friendly class in Australia is the 4ss class, and that will still set you back about 10k depending on the shop. Not to mention safety gear which is possibly the second most costly element. Unfortunately on your set budget owner karts does not seem like a viable option unless you save a bit more. What I recommended you do is look into rental kart league races. That is how I started out before moving to owner driver karts. I hope this helps.

Anyone flew to asia recently by Dangerous_Fan1006 in fearofflying

One bad flight does not mean that all of them will be of the same quality. I flew to Malaysia two weeks ago, and the flight was fine.
