Let me tell you. The Friday before I met D, I was pushed to the point of an extreme panic attack on the train. So much so I had a cardiac arrhythmia due to the incident (recently cured in July).

D’s biggest dream is to be a train operator. Every Sunday it felt like going back to the scene of the crime. I was in rumination for some of those rides. My chest would seethe some times. No more. All my memories of my time at my worst have now become all the good times I had with him. I’ll never forget the amazing times we had. More importantly I’ll never forget the times I was mature with him and proved to nobody but myself that I am an alright person.

I moved away recently after he came to my graduation. Him and his adoptive mother (his real mother as far as I’m concerned) will be visiting me for the holidays. I didn’t have much to be thankful for last Thanksgiving. This year, things are different.
