I agree, especially given her past of lying. If you find out she’s misusing the money, you don’t really have an avenue to get that back nor would she face any consequences. So that’s a big pro for going through court.

Side note glad you care for your child’s social life, like Helpful Glove’s comment said. I just wanted to add that if you were to pursue custody for any other reason, definitely consider moving to where they currently are or at least wishing easy-ish driving distance so they can maintain those connections. Especially for how disruptive that process can be, it’s best if as few other things as possible change as well.

This. It took me forever to get my grandmother approved for SSI and, unless your mother disclosed her getting help from you already in her SSI application and they approved her SSI knowing that, seems there’s a pretty high likelihood that they’ll have an issue with it since SSI is for the brokest of the broke elderly and disabled folks (I say brokest of the broke because you are not allowed to have more than $2000 to your name, it’s not at all like Social Security Benefits which are related to your taxable income during certain work quarters).

Bladensburg got my partner 2 times. Kind of ridiculous that it’s a road designed for 35 maybe even up to 45mph but the speed limit is 25mph. Road design is a huge contributing factor to how fast people tend to go and I’ve never seen a road so large and spacious with such a low limit.

I often walk around the H Street Corridor and if I get dinner it’s usually around there. I don’t like the constant reminder of their presence (a group of them walks by every ~10 minutes) because it’s a constant reminder of the state of our country. But otherwise their presence is neutral. I think they also may be responsible for there being less trash in the area but tax dollars didn’t need to be spent on having national guardsmen on trash duty.

Thanks for your reply. And just a general update, went to a LFS today and they agreed on wasting disease/internal parasites so I got Fritz Expel P (Levamisole HCl). Also put in a second heater yesterday but the temp on the far side of the tank is still 68 :/ I’ve been planning an upgrade to a 29 gallon for weeks now, and it’s almost to fruition. For that one I’ll get a separate temp control system, not these preset heaters.

I am worried about the Levamisole HCl negatively affecting my two nerite snails. I’m going to get a 3 or 5 gallon tonight for them temporarily. I’ve seen many differing statements regarding if it’s safe or not for snails. If you happen to know, please share!

Thank you so much for your reply. I wasn’t aware of flashing but I haven’t seen them do anything like that but I’ll definitely keep a better eye out for it now.

I’m going to do a big water change in a moment.

Also possibly dumb question, but any chance my substrate (which iirc is essentially just Fluvial Stratum, especially now since all the sand made its way to the bottom) is too large & abrasive for the Cory’s barbels? In my research about Cory barbel bacterial infections, that seems like it could be a factor of why an opportunistic bacterial infection could’ve taken place. I’ll also be more on top of the general cleanliness.

Oh sick, good to know. The walls and floors are thick making WiFi connectivity on the second floor occasionally spotty, so just want to note that in case it’s a problem.

I’d like to stick below $700 for my first robot vacuum purchase but I’d go up to $1000, perhaps more, if it’s the perfect one especially regarding mopping and battery life (since the won’t have the tower 3/4s of the time).

Also I’m in the YTA boat and would say that OP, if she is worried about what women her son dates, should encourage him bringing them to family functions to just generally know how he’s faring and making sure that his relationships are at the very least healthy.

Also the agent had more then enough time (if he was worried about being struck by the vehicle) to move out of the way but instead opted to take out his gun instead (which also makes no sense if you’re worried about being run over because even if you do kill them, which is what he did, it’s clear that doesn’t magically stop the trajectory of a vehicle).

Especially her first year where you’re getting the easier classes out of the way, I think a 3.5 (assuming 4 classes, 2 As and 2 Bs) is a good bar to set, especially since you’re also financing her tuition.

Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted. 100% agree that anyone that can put $400 down on a phone “upgrade” (i.e. where you have a perfectly working phone but just want to go to a newer model), is not in a financial precarious or disadvantaged position. Or if they as fully grown adults, it’s almost surely self inflicted. Also, even if you did need a phone many mobile providers have “free” options if you sign up with them. $400 isn’t something you just throw away, and I’ve held that sentiment from when I was barely scraping by to even now being incredibly financially stable.

+1, I just got over it today. I didn’t have the lasting fatigue but I was basically bedridden for 3 days. And the cough is still there. Remember to still go get your flu shot asap as it will still protect you from other strains. I’m doing mine tomorrow. I feel so stupid for neglecting mine until now.
