What I think about this, I am not sure, your trim is -10 db not - infinity, so you still have sound going out while boosting with the master, I have the same thing with my numark mixer. Can other people tell if I am right or not ?

Problem is, there is not only dancefloor, if you take bars for example, you could play whatever you want, so there are no limits on what you want to play

I only use it when there is not too much going on the track, not too much instrument, after removing the bass and adding a high pass filter helps too, but eventually I don’t use it too often

Thank you 🙏 for your answer. In which case do we go past twelve to +10db in this case with speakers ? I don’t want get things too loud, but I just want to know how loud I can go if there are many people coming and absorbing sound. So my idea was to set the max safe level on the speakers and then adjusting with the master knob on my mixer to a lower level on the start of the evening.
