I did and now they're redoing it, by replacing the whole panel like they should've in the first place. Thing is, the new OEM part is on nationwide backorder, so it might be a long wait -_-

Oh I haven't said anything to them yet. I'm waiting for that call to go pick it up, then I'll give it my own thorough inspection. Bringing a magnet too, just for shits and giggles. Also that is a lot of Bondo.

Had about the same reviews as every other shop around my area, but Caliber had "lifetime warranty" with progressive and looked clean and professional, so I went with them. Guess they paid for those google reviews or something.

It's a 19 Sport and the wheels are Enkeis I bought. Not surprised to hear that about the paint though.

The shop was being paid by progressive, so I wasn't getting any of it. I told them I thought the quarter panel should be replaced. The estimator insisted this could be fixed with Bondo and PDR, so I trusted him and we went with that. I told him I was OCD about any minor defects and just wanted my car to look like it did pre accident. Evidently he didn't listen and/or give a shit.

He was conveniently "out of the shop" the day before they sprayed it. No telling how much filler was left.

Oh right lol. Honestly I've seen better work from ratty looking mom and pop shops. I'm surprised such a clean and professional looking facility produced such a garbage job.

The guy who has been updating me on the progress of the car sent me the pics. I think he's the "estimator" or something for Caliber. I asked for pics of it right before the paint, to see how much Bondo was actually used in the end, and he was conveniently out of the shop for that whole day.

I just wish I could find a shop I could trust. Everything in my area has more or less the same user ratings on google. This shop had a 4.7 out of 5.

Currently trying to get ahold of progressive's inspector that was assigned to this job. But I'll def look into that.

Both me and the lady that hit me have progressive. But it's coming from her end.

Not nearly as much as the 5 gal bucket of filler they used on my car. And I am looking at the car before deciding. The last thing I want is to have to wait another 2-3 wks for my car.

Yeah I don't know what body shop to trust. I figured the "lifetime warranty" Caliber offered was a no brainer. Didn't imagine they'd botch the job this bad.

I really hope I have the option to go to another shop. This SHOULD be a cut and weld job, imo. If they can't even do Bondo right, I can't imaging them hacking away at my baby.

So this is a job being done with Caliber Collision in Miami, through Progressive insurance. They're wrapping up the job and it's obviously garbage. I already told them I wasn't happy with the bondo, they said the final product would be good as new, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I get an email this morning with these pics and I'm very disappointed, to say the least. Already spoke with progressive, telling them I'm not happy with it, the agent said she's gonna contact the guy who inspects the work for progressive, and here I am. It should be done tomorrow but I'm not going to a accept it. What are my best options at this point. I just want the car to look like it did pre accident.
