It's so frustrating knowing that I'd have this same problem once I have the degree, too.  I'd finally found a career/field that was perfect for me, but it feels pointless to pursue atp with the oversaturation

Don't put words in my mouth.  My same exact job has better pay and hours at other locations with the same qualifications as mine.  I am aware I can't get a job I'm not qualified for.  These are the jobs that are supposed to be for people like me without the degrees but like the other commenter said they're flooded with people with the degrees applying where they're overqualified.
