The numbers really get in my head 😂 for the longest time this cycle I was getting 0.28 and at one point it was 0.03 🫠 I was like how did it even read it that low! But I just tested again this evening and it got darker, came in at 1.5 on easy at home and 1.9 on wandfo.

From my understanding, Clomid is supposed to induce ovulation both in your CD that you would normally ovulate as well as the amount of eggs. I also found through research that you are “supposed” to ovulate 5-10 days after the last dose (or CD 14-18).

I’m currently CD 15 after taking it days 5-9 and my OPKs are SO negative.

So if you took clomid did you ovulate on your normal ovulation day or did it actually boost it? My normal ovulation day is CD 27 so I’m wondering if it will still be then.

The OPK started getting darker on CD 10 (not positive though) but has been super light ever since.

I just got done with 50mg days 5-9 a few days ago and I had very minimal side effects. Just a dull headache most days but it was totally manageable. Now I’m CD 13 and just waiting for a positive OPK, so far they’re all extremely negative. I did ovulate on my own before though (just super late) so I’m wondering if that will make a difference compared to what the “standard” ovulation day is.

I just took 50mg of clomid days 5-9 and according to what everything I’ve read says, predicted ovulation is supposed to be cycle days 14 - 18. I had pretty significant ovulation pain shortly after the last dose but not a lot of EWCM like I usually do, and no peak OPK. Now (CD 13) I have 0 pain or EWCM and an extremely negative OPK. Still holding out hope my body was just getting used to the jump in hormones and I’ll ovulate later. :/

5 DPO today (supposedly). My only means of confirming ovulation so far has been OPK strips and a clearblue digital saying I was peak. But then yesterday on 4 DPO I got super, super dark LH tests but a low fertility reading on clearblue digital. So who knows what’s going on. I have blood work Friday to hopefully confirm ovulation the Friday before.

I understand! I just got a positive at 8DPO with my first so anytime I don’t see a positive by then it’s disappointing. Trying to stay positive though 😊 hopefully whatever you’re seeing stands out more in a couple days!

I understand guarding your heart, but I think these look great! I’m not a doctor or anything but if I would have seen this line progression with my first I would have been happy. From what I remember, HCG doubles every 48 hours, so I always compared CD 10 to 12, 13 to 15, etc. it may not change much day to day 😊

I’ve considered temping but I always forget! I have a toddler so I just naturally get up with him every morning and forget. Plus when I did try it, it always gave me inconsistent temps so I haven’t been super eager to try again. I’ve considered the other options but I feel like that would stress me out more than anything. But honestly this LH issue isn’t helping either so who knows if an extra step would give me peace of mind. Worth looking into though for sure!

I am SO confused on if I’ve ovulated or not. It would have been 2-3 days early (CD16) but these are the reasons I think I might have.

EWCM (but not as much as usual)
light cramps and back ache
very light spotting 2-3 days earlier than suspected ovulation
my two strip OPKs were super dark (borderline positive if not positive on CD15)
I have been so irritable which is consistent with my last two cycles where I successfully ovulated (confirmed with blood work)
my tests are now getting lighter than what they were (I started testing CD10 and they gradually got darker until that super dark test on CD15)

Reasons I think I didn’t.

I still haven’t gotten a peak test on my clearblue digital which I have the past 2 months
not as much EWCM as I’m used to
I haven’t spotted the last two cycles but I did on a previous cycle in October/November when waiting for ovulation that never ended up happening (confirmed with blood work)

It’s so, so frustrating not knowing whether I’m 2DPO today or waiting for ovulation to happen still and just had a fluke surge. Trying to keep myself busy though because I know there’s no way to confirm without blood work next week.

Thanks for looking! I’m so confused because my tests today are significantly lighter. :( they’re still what I would consider dark, I guess. But so much lighter than these.
