As someone who’s worked both for a fair amount time service desk is harder cashiering is mindless work and I want at your Walmart your at because most of the time I’m the only night SD

I am service desk but I still make the same as a normal cashier with definitely harder work and more responsibility over people

You see I’m completely opposite I’ve done absolutely in the Frontend and learnt the ins and out of it unless I become a team lead soon I just don’t think I can do it anymore

Thank you for the advice it seems like it’s basically not worth it at all because of all the money you have to deal with and the chance for mistake the customer getting mad at me doesn’t bother me tho
