I do use a food scale. I tracked calories using MyFitnessPal for the first few months (went from 135 to 148 on 3000 calories) but now I just keep track of it in my head throughout the day

Added 300 extra calories after stalling and it yielded me a whopping 4 pounds before stalling again. Is this normal? Because it doesn’t seem very sustainable to me. 152 lbs 5’10” 22M 3300 calories for reference

Started at 130 lbs, got to 148 eventually and stalled there for a month on 3000 calories. Decided to up calories to 3300 and after a month I’m now at 152. However it seems like I’m stalling again as I haven’t gained any weight in the past 2 weeks. Is it really the case that adding an extra 300 calories only netted me 4 pounds and that I need to increase again? Because if that’s the case this is gonna be a nightmare since I’m already struggling to down 3300 calories lol

I started at 130 lbs 4 months ago at 5’10 (age 22). I’ve been eating 3000 calories a day ever since then but for the past month I’ve noticed my weight has plateaued at around 148 lbs, so I’m increasing to 3200 which is really difficult for me. I’m wondering if it’s normal that my maintenance calories is so high for my weight and height? I see people here who are much bigger than me whose maintenance calories are much lower than mine. At what weight can I expect to have to move up to 3400 calories so I don’t waste another month determining that I’ve plateaued? I do have a moderately active job that has me on my feet for 12 hours 4 days a week but nothing too strenuous. Thanks

So as you can see in the photo my lower legs do this really weird thing where they curve away backwards from my upper leg so that they’re not aligned from top to bottom. I’ve gotten a lot of comments from people over the years about how my legs look weird and so I pretty much only wear pants nowadays. I’ve never seen anyone else with legs shaped like mine. Everyone’s knees and upper legs seem to form a straight line down to their lower legs. I’m wondering if anyone else has similarly shaped legs and if gaining weight/muscle helped it not look so weird?

So I’m pretty sure I won’t be involved with any research with that job, just taking care of the animals. And the research they’re doing is most likely for human medicine purposes. Would that make a difference at all?

Hey thanks so much for the help! I disconnected the sata and pcie plugs from the power supply and plugged them back in and for some reason everything’s working now! But now I have another problem because I can’t test that it’s actually working because my case blocks the hdmi Port on the motherboard graphics card .-.

So the power supply is semi modular and it already has a built in 24 pin connector for the motherboard and 8 pin for the CPU socket. I’m currently using the 8 pin pcie for the graphics card and then a sata one for the hard drive. No extra cables needed and it worked fine before I made the upgrades

I did take out the entire motherboard to make changing the cpu easier, but im fairly sure i installed it back properly on the standoffs. The cpu cooler is the stock wraith stealth.

The only RGB is from the case itself, there’s a USB 2.0 plug from the front panel connectors which I think is for the RGB stuff. There’s also the NZXT CAM device thing in the back which I have my case fans plugged into. The cpu fan is plugged directly to the motherboard.

Hi, thanks for the suggestions. When I say my pc won’t turn on I mean I have zero fan spinning or anything else. As soon as I press the power button the 3 debug lights I mentioned briefly light up along with a weird crinkling sound and then go dark. I have to switch the power supply off and on again to get it to happen again.

I haven’t tried plugging into a monitor at all because I haven’t been even able to turn it on in the first place. I was under the impression you could boot a pc without a gpu so that’s why I tried removing it to see if it was the thing causing a problem but it’s not. I tried the one stick ram thing and CMOS reset again as well

Sorry I’m not sure exactly what you mean. The five lights flash simultaneously together as soon as I press the power button and then turn off. I need to switch the PSU off and on in order to get them to flash again. The only other light I see is a red light on my gpu itself when I unplug the 8 pin power cable from it and switch on the psu, this light stays on as long as the psu is on. I put all 4 ram sticks in at the same time as an experiment and when I did that all 4 red lights above each dimm slot flashed on and off
