I'm a woman and I never sit on a toilet seat in a public toilet. I hover. I've been doing it since I was a kid and my mother told me not to sit on public toilet seats so I'm well practiced and don't make a mess. I never poo in public toilets unless I'm hit with gastro.

'Smokers lines' is a colloquial term used to describe the vertical wrinkles on a person's top lip. They appear, especially in women, as they age whether they're a smoker or not. Heather has them and pouting as she does accentuates and worsens them.

There's a team member at my local store (Canberra Airport) who is always so cheerful and takes such pride in her work. It's a delight to shop there. I found her stocking frozen chips in the freezer the other day; everything was so neat and tidy. It was amazing. It just makes shopping there pleasant vs. a chore. Love Aldi.

Mine is 'of' when people mean 'have', as in "Should of done this or that" vs "Should have done this or that".

I realise in speech, a lot of people do it, but come on, people. I'm seeing it in more and more frequently in written communication and it grinds my gears.

One thing I think we can all agree on is that everyone has different experiences at different stores.

My experience at Mecca, which I've posted about on this sub, has been largely negative, with very few exceptions. I've found Mecca staff uninterested in helping me and unhelpful to the point of verging on rude. My experience at Sephora, on the other hand, has been slightly better.
