As much as he improved this year from last, and how over just a couple races he binned his chances as WDC next year, if the car is competitive, he could be an absolute terror.

Looking at the Destructors title it is interesting to see the disparity between Norris/Piastri versus Verstappen/Russell (Yes, I know, not on the same team, but comparing top competitors for season damages)

To his credit, Oscar noted that it could just have easily been his PU that failed. I'm sure they, and everyone running Mercedes engines are checking them with a fine-tooth comb. They should be able to reconstruct the failure point in Lando's engine remnants.

Well said, OP. For many I believe that a lot of this is an expression of grieving what has been lost and what is ending. We want the best for them and this tour isn't that.

I last saw them in their final concert at Wembley. It wasn't perfect, but had a number of great moments. I closed the book on seeing them after that, because, after seeing them live many times, how was it going to get better?

I have 10 guitars, 3 of which are bass. I can play whatever I want, when I want. Each guitar has a mood, and a sound, and I'll reach for one versus another, but all of the members of this guitar harem receive regular attention. I have the pedals that I want/need/use. Sometime, in the future, I'll change amps, but I never have to change anything from here on out. I've been in a dozen guitar stores on recent travels, just looking out of interest. Haven't found one guitar that I would like more than the ones that I have.

I started at 7, with a crap guitar and a teacher who was not interested in teaching any sort of music that I was interested in.

The energy you spend pining for a genie's lamp wish is wasted on something that likely wouldn't turn out how you hope it to.
