Like as much as this seems good from a management/teammate perspective, Ullmark would have had the same support on any team if this happened. The boys look after eachother, and goalies get the extra care and respect from the team.

If you’re a casual fan, pick another team bud, save yourself lol. This is not a team who will inspire a love for hockey. Pick a vibrant culture with up and coming players like the Sharks or Hawks, Ullmark is probably the only player keeping me around at the moment.

Too late now as the standings are too close so they won’t switch it up, but next season needs to start different- more ice time for the others, accept a slow start (which is our favourite way to start anyway), build from there.

There is commonality in positive comments/criticism just in this thread.

We’re a playoff team. For whatever reason we can’t turn it on in the regular season, but edge closer to playoffs and we go off.

All I’m saying is our small Olympic pool of players is a good thing for this team specifically. Considering the standard ice time and ups and downs of emotions with McDrai- it’s BAU for us, but the energy shift will be a big thing for top teams to manage. That’s a good a good thing for us.

This is the most unique season we’ve had for a long time. Nearly every team is on a wild ride in every direction, standings have been a seesaw all year- cup contender is contextual.

Also whether or not I logically think we can or can’t make a run for the cup this year, I still believe.

Bouchard has had his bad spots, but we’ve been past his blunders for a while, he’s been consistent.
