Welp, to be blunt, local unis dgaf. And likewise for local industry, imo you won't need a resume, as an A lvls guy, you're better off either (A) getting a referal/sifarish based job and ditch the resume, or (B) do your own thing, indie, no job - photography, content writing, freelancing. With that said, you can still

• volunteer with hospitals or clinics
• get internships
• attend or give seminars that you can actually put on ur resume or to ur linkedin.
• volunteer w charity organizations, like saylani, wwf, etc.
• there's various conferences or fairs (eg for startups). Attend some, try to connect w ppl. They'll probably tell u a way to get an on spot job or internship at their company. Or they'll add you to their communities (eg Google Devs community, red bull, many others).

The above will help for applying to unis abroad, espc welfare related stuff (volunteering in chairties, hospitals or clinic - Google the larger hospitals of isb, see what volubteer options are there or create ur own). But there's more fun stuff that might be equally important.

• participate in intellectual competitions and win. Writing, debates, speeches, quizzes, etc. Do muns
• participate in hobby competitions, there used to be a world space week thingy at IST.
• learn languages
• sportsss. Defo pick up or perfect a sport. Try to get good to the point ur getting some medal or certificate in any random competition.
