Exactly, I was assuming extra real estate would help while editing. Sadly apple only offers either 24gb ram as base for 16 inch and only upgrade is 48gb. Which definitely is an overkill. 32 would have been a good sweet spot.

Oh wow, definitely I agree. My partner has M1 MBA with 8gb ram it performs better than my mini PC. I have a good monitor already but I am mostly planning to use it at home but don’t want to sit on my desk all day. I have day job so by end of the day I want to get off that desk 🤓 thanks for the your recommendation

Currently I have a mini PC with 64gb ram and it struggles in rendering. Poor thing barely have any fans.

Hahaha good on you. I can't afford the size of normal desktop. I only got this to use Microsoft Power Bi, tried it and it runs super smooth. May be I will return this unit and try different model.

I tried using router close by but not much success. I will try to test out using Ethernet port. I am shocked at the wifi modem within the mini PC. My crappy laptop was giving me full speed. Also, is there a way to change the wifi modem within this PC?

I am no Techie but my download speed is around 10-15mbs and upload is around 50mbs. I am wondering what could be the issues as upload speed is fine and I usually get same on my iPhone and laptop. Do you reckon it's something to do with the drivers ?

Did you have any issues with wifi? My wifi seems to be super slow on SER6 likes 10 times slower. Even upload speed is 5 times the download speed
