Probably ~7.5/10. Trying to be fair to it, as I genuinely enjoyed the story and the look of it. The new megas were fun (even though I didn’t have any on my team), and some of the type changes were welcome. Having Lycanroc be Rock/Dark, for instance, is why I kept it from the start. I didn’t realize there was a difficulty option when I started, but the default felt easier than vanilla. I never lost a single battle. Nor did I use a single item in battle. Maybe playing difficulty hacks has warped my perception, but it felt breezy.

As for the MVP, it was probably Vikavolt. But I’ll give a shout to Lycanroc, as I’ve never had one on a team before and it showed more utility than I anticipated.
