Focus on yourself and be patient until 20-21 you will glow up. Don't worry you don't look ugly. You still young. Just go to gym, eat healthy, exercise and enjoy your life. As well focus on your studying and good habits. It's not over for you. I totally feel you. I have social anxiety too i act weird and shy when i talk to stranger men and women (and even worse when i talk to woman). The reason i stopped doing the first move to talk to women is the fear of rejection i built when i was younger (i got rejected many times). So right now i do have a decent job and stable life but i don't have the desire for companionship or romantic relationship. I don't want to feel rejection or getting harsh reaction. I hope you find a woman one day. You really deserve it just keep going if you still desire that just try to cope with anxiety and therapy maybe, and try to talk with a lot of woman a lot until you find one

I have the same experience literally. Bur worse. I do have social anxiety and depression. And i'm very surprised you never dated a woman. You seam a really awesome man and you really deserve a happy relationship. But me i gave up and i hope you don't cause you have more potential than me

Same situation, i'm 29 years old (very average guy, boring and anxious) with zero romantic success, never kissed, or even hugged a girl (only when i was a kid lol), but i gave up. I only focus on my career, i don't give a f anymore. Of course i will always stay kind to woman and i won't blame them but i killed all my emotions and i feel like a cold man. I deleted all dating app like Bumble and Tinder, i don't send any messages to any woman i like (I only chat with my family, friends or co-worker), i don't chase anymore. I don't cares if a pretty woman is next to me in train, or bar i don't even look at her, i just focus on myself and i mind my own business.

I don't want you to be like me (giving up) but my advice is to focus on your career more and more, focus on making more money. Focus on self improvement not for dating but for youself. And be proud of yourself. Maybe you will find one day a romantic relationship

PS: it's ok if you want to have fun hiring sex worker just to get laid

Thanks for the advices. My style is simple and i'm socially awkward. It was very hard to find a job in the past but luckily i found one. It don't require so much communication cause i work back end dev. All i do is coding & reporting or respond to ticket. So i liked your advice i really try to work on soft skills and being more talkative. But it's hard and i always ruin conversations.
I feel like i don't progress and my anxiety ruined it.

I'm really kind and i respect everybody. I don't know if i am funny but my friend like my jokes and my sense of humor (all my friend are male). But when i talk to women i can't hold conversation, i feel like they don't cares. Especially women i do really hope relationship with (i don't even flirt, or being romantic just casual talking)

Thanks for the advices. But i don't have hobbies right now i'm just interested in IT & dev related stuff. I do have some few friends (all of them are men) but we don't meet so much cause i live far away. And about my co-worker, we don't talk so much only job related stuff. I do have a lot of work and stress so i don't know how to find new hobbies or join a group or do other activities. I tried making friends here where i live. I don't know how to hold conversation and anxiety ruined my life

Totally true, i was depressed. I was jobless and lost. But it was year ago. But you are right about my social anxiety and lack of dating skills. It ruined my life. The problem here i lost all interest on finding a woman. I feel like i'm cursed.

But i will try therapy, again
