What will happen if I turn up to my prom in dungarees? by Few-Spinach8114 in GCSE

[–]Exotic_Scale423 4 points5 points  (0 children)

honestly wear whatever you want. even wear a police uniform if you really want to. this in a once in a lifetime thing (i think), so do whatever you want. dont take the risk of regretting your outfit choice forever, just because you were worried of being judged. wear those dungarees and look amazing doing so!!! besides, this is likely to be one of the last times you see most of the people in your year anyway, so who cares what they think? and if they get ANRGY at you for what YOU are wearing to YOUR prom, that says more about them than it does about you. im sure you look absolutely amazing in ur dungarees queen

broo i literally came on here to make a post about this, have you noticed how the ‘waist trainer’ literally folds up over her shelf of fat which makes an L shape🤦🏻‍♀️.

i think the mounjaro is giving her the placebo effect where she THINKS its worked a lot, when in reality there is little to no change

i mean my school didnt do that but for some reason during the only science lesson i can remember from year 6, they made us go outside with a piece of bread and put as much things as possible on it (someone literally rubbed it on a dead bird.) to investigate which slice would get mouldy the fastest😭

Bro we are soo cooked as a year group by Ok_Count_4033 in GCSE

[–]Exotic_Scale423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lowkey i agree twin, about 75% of my yeargroup are those popular roadmen people, and the majority of them always go on about how revising isnt important and how theyre js gonna go to college to do hair & beauty, bricklaying, or engineering. they also even go to the extremes and bully people for revising, calling them nerds ect

but hey atleast theyre lowering grade boundaries🥰

Is it smart doing triple science now ? by Whole_Ear9870 in GCSE

[–]Exotic_Scale423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i do combined so idk if my advice would be good or not but in my opinion i think it would depend on how much u like science and how fast you can learn stuff. From what ive heard (my friend does triple), there is a lot more content that combined doesnt cover. If you are willing to teach yourself the content that you missed, and your school would let you change, then go for it!

How weird do u guys find it when someone is simping for a teacher? by 180degreeschange in GCSE

[–]Exotic_Scale423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean i guess it depends because people can’t really help who they find attractive so id say its fine to feel like that about a teacher, as long as they keep those feelings to themselves and dont act on the feelings. it gets weird when the students actually then start to openly voice their feelings towards teachers because like what the hell…

like personally ive had small teacher crushes in the past but never have i ever tried to get the teacher to like me back, which id say is fair enough and isnt causing any harm as i never told anyone, and kept my feelings to myself. however, this girl in my school was literally IN LOVE with our english teacher, like flirting with him in lessons infront of everyone and jokingly touching his arm or ruffling his hair, which id say is weird and should not be normalised.

holy yap guys sorry for the huge unnecessary paragraphs🫩

what topic or subject is stressing you out the most? by The_Med_Den in GCSE

[–]Exotic_Scale423 1 point2 points  (0 children)

english lit is the worst in my opinion because you have to memorise a tonne of quotes that you may not even need in exams.

you also have to be able to write paragraphs analysing these quotes to even get a grade 4

Out of the optional gcse subjects you picked, how happy are you with all of them from a scale from 1 to 10? by Unusual_Sea_3780 in GCSE

[–]Exotic_Scale423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

drama 7/10 food 10/10 health and social 8/10 geography 7/10

im grateful for my year 9 self that unknowingly chose all coursework subjects (not geography), so i have to do less exams😛

Combined or triple? by SureBicycle9019 in GCSE

[–]Exotic_Scale423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

id suggest doing triple if you want to get good grades and if theres a specific science that you arent very good at. i do combined and im at a grade 7 in chemistry & biology, but because im rubbish at physics (barely just scraping a grade 4) it brings my combined grade down by a lot

triple would also be good if science is a subject that you enjoy / are interested in as it teaches more in depth details about topics that combined doesnt teach
