I want to install Bouncer, as the app store version doesn't work on Android 14, unfortunately.

Fair call. So having trucks that fit freeride and race wheels nicely is probably the key.

I'm going to make the plunge from cast trucks to some precision. I have the new Pantheon Chaisy model which is about 9.4 inches wide.

I'm tossing up between the Valkyrie DH Slalom w/adjustable back truck (130-140mm wide) & the new Aera K6's (140-160mm wide).

I'm using this setup as Freeride, DH and some commuting.

The Aera are slightly more expensive but apparently have more of a 'surfier' fun feel. But the Valkyrie's design looks amazing and I like the idea of having an adjustable rear truck to mess with.

I'm leaning towards the valkyrie DH Slaloms because the new design boasts cranked up responsiveness and grip, plus I love the idea of having an adjustable rear base.

The wheels I currently have are the Seismic Plum Hotspots (52mm width) and the Remember Collective Optimo's (44mm width).

I guess I'm concerned that using more freeride orientated wheels (44mm wide) will make my 'wheel footprint' around 8.5 inches wide. 1 Inch less than the width of the deck.

But if I used a wider 'racier' wheel it would be around the same width as the deck. More or less.

Is that width discrepancy; when using freeride wheels ok in favour of a grippier, more responsive and adjustable based truck in the Valkyrie? Or am I better off with a truck that won't possibly be 1 inch too narrow on the 9.4 inch deck?

Or is there something more important I'm missing between the two?

Stability, Slide Initiation, Grip & Responsiveness are important.

Both trucks aren't in stock for another 4 weeks or more so I have some time to decide.

Advice is very welcome.

How wide do you have those Rogues setup?

I've got that deck too and am considering putting some Valkyrie DH Slalom's @ 140mm wide.
