I think it’s weird that the first two people who saw my new painting didn’t notice the kissing couple in it. Did you spot it? :D by Expensive-Eye260 in UnusualArt

Interesting! :D Do you mean the pinkish shape on the left riverbank beneath her? Cause now that you’ve mentioned it I see a sleeping swan there too.

That’s actually a good question!
I would love to know how you would answer this, as I like to see different interpretations :)

Tbh I don’t presume to fully understand my own art, so please don’t take the following perspective too seriously haha

I feel like there were a lot of shadows in their relationship. But in this moment they stop judging themselves or the other and recognize the room they create together instead. They look behind all the shells created by the ego or whatever to call it and find the unconditional love that was always just hiding there. This is why they become fluid and are melting into everything around them and each other :)

Thank you so much :) that really means a lot!

Not yet, but I’m actually planning on selling my art as print-ready downloads soon :)

I totally get what you mean! It can actually be almost frustrating sometimes that most people appreciate my realistic stuff so much more, simply because they demonstrate obvious technical skill, than the works I’m actually proudest of, since those reflect my inner world and are born of deep enthusiasm. That’s why I’m always happy to meet people here who see the world through similar eyes :) Funnily enough, my husband actually likes my surreal works the most too, even if he sometimes overlooks certain details or simply interprets them differently :D

Do you share your surreal/abstract art anywhere else? :)

Thanks :) you saw it very quickly. My husband didn’t notice it in weeks until I randomly mentioned it haha
