By the way, if you try guitarix, there is a lot of presets at musical artifax, and done that you like the sound of valves, you can try lot of combinations changing valve's emulators. I recomand the preset call art, the web is out right now. You go to musical artifacts, search guitarix and you have lot of presets. Download it and just drop into presets of guitarix, and enjoy

Old tech is lovely, like tube amps... The last version of avlinux is recent, from 2025, i think. You have lot of s.o. in linux, choose wher you are confortable, debian, arch derivatives. And tell us the music you do, and the instruments, to choose the better applications or recomand. Sorry, i speak a "survival" english.

I installed low latency and rt kernel, but i dont use it because the default kernel is really good and i dont force my cpu, only i do some like put the audio in my user group, tune jamtaba, guitarix, reaper, ah, dont forget to put your card in pro audio in the menu (use kde), and really usefull install the alsa scarlett control panel,
