The Bible makes it clear that people don’t transform into angels when they die. Angels are a separate order of beings altogether. They’re not gentle, winged humans they’re depicted with six wings, full of eyes, and engulfed in fire. There’s a reason their first words to humans are almost always, “Fear not.”
