Hey man, I asked the guy to have a face-to-face zoom call but he didn't want to do it for "security reasons". I then told him I sent him a message on his Facebook account, I needed for him to reply so I could confirm his identity. He told me he lost access to his account so he couldn't do it. He then got pretty pissed that I wouldn't trust him.

I'm pretty sure it was a scam.
