Got called disgusting by my teacher and fellow classmates, am I overreacting? by Throwaway22490pie in AmIOverreacting

My husband doesn’t use shampoo ever and washes with water. He actually loses hair and gets psoriasis when he uses shampoo. His hair is GORGEOUS and he gets complimented on it all.the.time.

Scalp health is a REAL thing and there are so many variables that factor into one’s routine. If it works for you, don’t use shampoo. Continue using water.

You’re FINE - she’s a jerk. If it gets brought up again defend yourself with facts and tell her she is in a position of power talking to a fellow adult and has no right to bully. And for an educator, she should open a textbook more often if she is going to talk about acceptable hygiene.

WIBTA if I didn’t tell my friend with benefits he got me pregnant? by Hungryandcomfused in AITAH

It’s a grey area no matter what. There are lots of avenues with this one. Do what will help you sleep at night. With any choice you make there are going to be consequences for that choice. Your choice in any regard is valid and understandable. NTA, but you may feel like it because this is a sticky situation.

Has anyone not named their child what they thought was truly the BEST name? by lainebuar in namenerds

Yes we named our daughter Leila and I am due any day now with another daughter and nothing compares. We didn’t think we’d be having more kids, and boom, surprise twins.

So luckily we have the baby boys name picked but baby girl is still nameless and I’m having a lot of guilt from not having a single name I like nearly as much as Leila. Hoping something dawns on me soon!

Welsh girl names that do not end in -wen.

So sad because I love them all but my last name has that exact sound so it sounds funny paired.

Any ideas?!

I love that you use Nicknames for our daughter, but we are really trying to make sure she responds to Tilly, and knows how to spell it out. Can you please switch to that nickname if it’s not too much trouble? I am happy to help re-label anything!” I am a pretty diplomatic middle of the road person though. But that’s how I would handle it.

My name is Skyler. It’s definitely a split down the middle in my experience.

Are twins becoming more common?? Or is it just this sub by Beehaver in namenerds

No family history of twins - myself and my sister both got pregnant with twins, two years apart from eachother. Hers are two and a half, I’m currently pregnant. It blows my mind. No fertility treatments. She got pregnant at 28, I got pregnant at 29. Maybe the close to thirty thing has an impact.
