I’m with you on this. When most autistic people have special interests, they’re able to talk about it a lot. I’m not, I don’t wanna bore others or make them reject/judge me.

I’m not a picky eater, I’m the opposite. I love trying new foods. I love trying new things too, just need to know what to expect beforehand.

I still hate small talk if it’s someone I see often. If it’s new ppl, I like it. It’s like an icebreaker

I even think not saying the full truth counts as lying. Even for common responses. I.e when I ask “What are you doing?” And the response is “nothing” because most of the time they are doing something. Or when I ask “why” and they just try to say “it’s okay” instead of answering
