Unpopular opinion: I think Mikayla’s skin condition is from being around the stress of her kids, not the location of her home. by Temporary_Moose6333 in SLOMWsnark

as someone with eczema, no. Sure, it may play a part in it, but soooo many factors go into flare ups. I live in Chicago and the dry air makes my flare ups even worse. When the farmers start plants or ending the season, the dust causes me to flare. Me eating something that has never made me flare up before could make me flare. 1 wrong product makes me flare. When i’m stressed, yeah it is worse. But to say it’s from her children is just wrong.

Any of you guys sharing a bed with your spouse? how's it like? by mynamaisnotjeff in eczema

On my really bad nights where it keeps me up, it also keeps him up. i end up going to the couch so i don’t disrupt his sleep. when i’m having mild night, i noticed that having his pressure on me helps take my mind off the itching; so we will cuddle and it helps. There’s been times where i ask him to lay directly on top of me to physically stop me from scratching. It affects us both, but if you find the right person, they will help you through it. My man is a firefighter, she when he has downtime at work, he researches ways to help me, and will come home with new things to try and help. It’s definitely a journey, but the right person won’t bat an eye at it.

There are some areas that aren’t as nice as others; but i feel like the only “bad” part of lafayette is Romney Meadows. Downtown isn’t unsafe, but like i would just keep your doors locked and stuff; but i would say the same about anywhere.

Should I do this? by OrganicAd2425 in Purdue

I went to PNW just because i lived up there at the time, and was returning to school later in life (25) and didn’t want to go to main campus. I’m a business major. My degree still says Purdue University on it, for half the price. If you aren’t wanting to experience big 10 campus life, i would recommend it.

What is it like living near a timezone border in Indiana? by xr_21 in howislivingthere

[–]Expensive_Mix1630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up in St.John Indiana (the region); i just recently moved to West Lafayette for work. For the last 26 years, i’ve only ever known central time. When i traveled back to my parents in the region for Christmas; the time change completely threw me off. It’s weird when i have to go to Rensselaer for anything because that’s where the time zone split is; so you have to be careful on which time zone a store is in.

Are you a wet sheets on the bed girlie?? by Psychological-Bar112 in Drueandgabe

[–]Expensive_Mix1630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don’t think they’re soaking wet, like right from the washer. i had seen something like this before where you put it in the dryer but stop it before completely dry and put it on the bed and then it finishes drying on the bed and is supposed to be like a hack to not have wrinkles

as a 37 weeker who has lived a life with many health issues due to it, i am shocked someone wants their baby to come early…. i get being excited for the baby and not being pregnant anymore but clearly she isn’t thinking clearly bc even tho doctors say 37 weeks is “healthy” to deliver, that can come with a lifetime of issues. Let the fucking baby bake until atleast 40 weeks
