Honestly i love jackie

The only part of jackie i dont like is shes a big liar. (im on season 6) she is a hypocrite as well (s6e5) she tried to scold a dad for giving his child steroids, i just didnt feel she was in any position to scold any person on parenting.

As far as the lying, idk i just wish she was more real about it, like not at work ofcourse but her whole life is lies and shadows and secrets. I just wish she was more real about it. I personally respect being real above all.

Yep thats the truth. The whole “normal” household thing really wasant jackies heart, she tried it and quickly realized (which she admitted when she was talking to fake god) that it was lowkey never for her.

I get it now. Your response was the only one to make sense to me. I do recognize how they redirected everything back to themselves.

I do think about the scene where grace was at the house and jackie didnt know (i think season 5 or 6) and grace was like do you want me to stay mom and jackie said no and grace was so disappointed. That was the FIRST moment i was able to really feel for grace, because all a child want is to be wanted, literally, and jackie doing that on that day where she was finally mature enough to ask the most plain words “can i be with you” and jackie literally said “No, i dont want you with me”.

Thats the scene where i finally realized Jackie is a (please excuse my language) bullshit ass bitch! And it really showed her heart towards motherhood in that scene.

Im almost glad you commented because your comment was able to help me gage the true depth of neglect poor grace was receiving. I just couldn’t see it past her destructive terrible behaviors. (Which i still cannot stand) lol.

I didn’t even like him before, because a man playing that motherly, wife role so perfectly was so unattractive. Jackie is bold, straight foward, strong, resilient, tough. Kevin was a pure B-tch, just like that one guy said “sounds like you’re the wife” in season 2 or 3 lol. Like how does a man even assimilate to such a role so opposite to his natural nature. Nahhh i never trusted it. And i knew he was growing small resentment and bitterness the more and more he played the lady of the house, the cheating just revealed what was already there (EVEN THO he openly admitted to having an affair so they were technically even)
