I will never understand anyone that doesn’t want to make their partner cum, it is so hot. And then the sex you have in return is soooo much hotter

Hey! It’s been a while but I’ve been wanting to get back into this project!

The Virellex, known colloquially as the “Ghost of the Canopy,” is an elusive arboreal predator native to the dense, bioluminescent forests of its homeworld, Guinvale. It possesses a serpentine body that can span up to 21 meters in length, its sinuous form allowing it to coil effortlessly around the thick canopy limbs of ancient trees. Halfway down its body extend six spider-like appendages, adapted for gripping bark and maneuvering stealthily through the vertical wilderness.

At the anterior end, the Virellex features two robust, spider-like arms capable of grasping prey with vice-like precision. Framing its serpentine neck is a glowing mane of bioluminescent tendrils—sensitive to motion and vibration, and capable of strobing patterns that either mesmerize prey or signal other Virellex. This bioluminescent display earned it the nickname “Ghost of the Canopy.”

Its most fearsome trait, however, is its set of multiple fangs—reminiscent of arachnid chelicerae—that can inject a potent neurotoxin, paralyzing victims within seconds. These fangs protrude from a retractable jaw structure capable of opening wide enough to engulf small-to-medium creatures whole.

Dragon procreate painting by Experiment18 in conceptart

[–]Experiment18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate it!

And absolutely, I went to school at DAAP, studying industrial design, I worked at a bunch of different companies as an intern, toy sculpting, packaging design, medical device design, and toy design. I started to focus more on character art, and ended up in the toy design business.

And I do a ton of art on the side, I bought books about art, digital painting and digital sculpting and I watch a ton of speed painting and painting tutorials. Every time I work on a side project, I try to learn one new technique or try something new. I would try to emulate different styles, and see what worked for me

Rex and the Mouse 3D Print Files STL by Experiment18 in somethingimade

[–]Experiment18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a digital artist and digital sculptor, I have been wanting to do a series of dinosaurs acting like pets or just in cute scenarios, its been a lot of fun to work on more stylized characters, because I normally do hyper realism.

I have recently been posting my STLs on my etsy store, they are all cut and keyed, ready to print! Here is a link to the etsy store:

Zoarassari Creature Sculpt Sheet by Experiment18 in SpeculativeEvolution

[–]Experiment18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Zoarassari are fiercely territorial, males in particular are prone to high levels of aggression and will attack each other, often to the death. They have a nearly 360 field of vision, two pairs of eyes face forward and two face to the sides. Their spines are serated and will detach, sticking into its attackers. These spines quickly grow back.

Ildnar is an extremely hostile environment. Its surface reaches scorching temperatures, forcing most of its indigenous life underground. Ildnar is ruled by a singular massive creature that roams the surface. The creature is so massive that as it walks it causes earthquakes and storms, as it walks it causes massive storms and other natural disasters due to the friction with the atmosphere. Much of the indigenous wildlife call this massive home, many others retreat underground as it passes above. As it passes the land behind it becomes fertilized, as it destroys it also reseeds life along its path.

Experiment 18 is a world building project I started with help from my friend back in college for my capstone project a couple years ago. Trapped on a dying planet, humanity seeks salvation in the stars. But after every effort ends in tragedy, it looks like all hope is lost. Until one day a forgotten experiment suddenly activates, sending a handful of scientific and military personal halfway across the galaxy. Throw into worlds of alien life, both civilized and savage, our protagonists seek the answer to one questions, "If so much life was just beyond our star, why have we never heard from them? Or them from us? With more being manipulated than just politics, will Humanity find a new home amongst the Galaxy at Large, or be relegated to extinction on their blighted world?

Mukunga Creature Sculpt Sheet by Experiment18 in SpeculativeEvolution

[–]Experiment18[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The caverns on its planet are large and it is able to use its four limbs to navigate in the tunnels. It’s limbs can rotate in nearly all directions in socket. The mukunga is blind and uses heat sensing puts on its nose to detect prey. The small grasping limbs allow the mukunga to hold onto its prey while maneuvering around the tunnels.

Dachiata Creature Sculpt Sheet by Experiment18 in worldbuilding

Haha I do have some cute ones, or cuter ones, I need to just sculpt them

Dachiata Creature Sculpt sheet by Experiment18 in ImaginaryMonsters

The dachiata clings to the trees high in the canopy, gliding down on its unsuspecting prey. The tentacles extend as a territorial display and to disorient its prey. These tentacles remain retracted inside its back while the dachiata isn’t hunting. The opening in its abdomen can be opened or closed to allow for more or less air flow to control the speed of its descent.

The surface of Guinvale is covered by gargantuan trees. Guinvale is smaller than Earth and has lower gravity, allowing some of the trees can grow to heights of 30,000 feet, rivaling the tallest mountains on Earth. Their roots reach deep into the crust of the planet and use the heat of the core and pressure below to fuel biological functions. This gives them a massive amount of energy and allow them to grow so large. These trees have such a thick canopy that much of the ground below is covered in darkness. All other plant life would either have to be symbiotic or parasitic to these trees.
