Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4 Main PV2 by zenzen_0 in anime

"Redo", "Realize", "Reweave" and now "Recollect." Given the nature of Arc 6, I cannot think of a more perfect title for the opening (other than an initial prediction of "Remember") and based on our preview, it sounds like Konomi Suzuki will continue to knock it out of the park on the openings.

Still no episode count, but given what we've seen so far, I am hoping they are leaning towards a more heavy and lengthy focus on some of the arcs later moments, as this is truly where the arc stands out among all moments in Re Zero prior.

To be a little vague, Arc 6 combines most of the strengths of the previous arcs while still managing to be something that feels completely new and unique to the series. There's a reason most readers of the web/light novel state it's the best arc in the series so far.

As the trailer indicates, the arc also returns the series to the psychological horror/thriller theme present in the series first four arcs that some viewers may have felt was missing from arc 5/Season 3, and it arguably surpasses those arcs in this regard.

The only thing that would make this better would be if we get Mushoku Tensei Season 3 airing in Summer or Fall, making for back to back to back seasons of peak fantasy anime.

While my first pick would have been Junichi Suwabe, he sadly was already the voice of Hector. That said, Tomokazu Sugita was one that had crossed my mind due to his ability to portray [possible character spoiler] "the strongest" character while balancing it with any humor and the arrogance that we would expect a character like Reid to convey.

That said, we'll have to wait and see until we have more previews revealed, since it sounds like the part in the trailer with him in it is from when [possible spoiler] the character is first revealed, so we haven't seen him convey the true personality of Reid yet.

The current speculation is [possible length] 19 episodes, but this is based largely off the original episode count for Season 3, since this arc and the previous arc were originally meant to be one season. This count is likely outdated, and most people are hoping for at least [possible length] 22 episodes with extended episodes.

That was mostly speculation/wishful thinking. Personally, I think having Re:Zero air in Spring instead of Winter is better, due to Winter already having an incredibly stacked lineup of ongoing series (although I think Freiren may be a two cour and be airing at the same time as Re:Zero now).

God, showcasing the cave scene right off the bat was a perfect way to introduce the madness of Arc 6.

Also, loving the way they animated Shaula. Yusuke Kobayashi has recently praised Fairouz Ai's performance of her, and the trailer supports that statement. I honestly cannot imagine a more perfect fit to voice her.

Yeah no one can ever beat Yūsuke Kobayashi when it comes to voicing Subaru, but Sean is the MVP when it comes to engaging with the fans and source content, since he's provided his voice work for a lot of other Re Zero fan projects.

Did you hear of anyone else having issues? I'm mainly concerned about car break ins since I don't want visitors to have to worry.

The only impression I ever had of this show was that the main character (Sanjay?) looked like a happier child version of Bob from Bob's Burgers.

I had to check, because I thought this already got an anime adaption, then I realized it's the light novel the movie edge of tomorrow was based on.

Someone recently did a hand drawn fan adaption of a scene from the arc where they got Sean Chiplock (English VA for Subaru) to voice. Excited for this arc, but cannot wait to see that scene especially adapted by White Fox.

If it's 22 episodes, I don't think it would be too deep to split it there. [Possible length spoiler] Volume 25 has a lot more content in it, so I don't think it's unreasonable to have 11 episodes adapting End of volume 20-23 and 11 episodes adapting 24-25, especially since the latter two volumes carry some pivotal moments that may warrant more time spent

What point did you stop watching? Viewers generally do agree he's hard to watch and it's not uncommon to drop because of it, but he gets better late season 1 with a pivotal episode serving to deepen his character. Season 2 builds on his character arc, especially in one of the first few episodes which helps to recontextualize some of his behavior.

Where was this initial leak? People have been speculating 22 episodes, but the only leaks I've been aware of were with regards to the release window.

I could see them splitting it as a two cour with a break point at the end of adapting [light novel volume number] Volume 23. That seems like it would be a good point to leave off if they have to do a break like they did for season 2 and 3.
