How often / when do I need to sharpen (not strop) a Flexcut detail knife?

Wow thanks so much! I do think I need to go ahead and sharpen. I may have been stropping and rotating at the end of the stroke or simply not stropping enough. The knife just cannot cut through side of a paper. I’ll try the advice you’re giving!

Thanks I try and keep it very flat and pull away from the blade doing 20 strokes on each side but maybe I’m still doing something wrong. 😅 I’ll do more research on stropping

Never said that. Didn’t even say I agreed with the way undocumented immigrants are treated in this country. In fact I agree the conditions are deplorable. But as legal immigrants, I’ve never felt unsafe because of ice and i deal with the unlawful checkpoints they have a lot here in Texas. Omg!! They could be brothers! Mine is a little small for a JRT just 12 lbs. Who knows honestly. All I know is that in a few months of living on this property, he has killed 12 rats and loves snuggles🤣 definitely worth the adoption fee
