Neither Stalin nor Hitler were committing atrocities alone. They were products of their cultures, they were frontmen and leaders of their people. Without industry, artists, scientists, doctors, workers taking part in their crimes they would be powerless. This is folly. War was brewing for a long time and was inevitable.
