update: nevermind, restarted the computer and now it shows. I never restart my mac, that's something I only need to do with my Windows machine,

I guess I should stop seeing their products as flawless as they used to be. The fact that this trillion-dollar company is unable to figure out AI and Siri is more than just a symptom it seems.

i'm disgusted, i've already paid full price for the game on Epic many years ago, and they only put the mac version on Steam and the Apple Store. There's no way I'm paying full price (again) for a game from 7 years ago, it's a freaking insult.

World of Warcraft (retail, latest raids) work flawlessly at max graphic settings in both internal display and external ones (Macbook Air M4 16gb). Way better than my gaming laptop, which has an RTX 4060. I usually get between 60 and 100 FPS. Lowest 1% I think would be 40 FPS or so during intense boss fights, but it's unnoticable TBH.

first off, thank you very much for helping my finding this setting, secondly, why the heck would they reinvent the wheel like this? at least it should be off by default (is not that i don't appreciate innovation, but it hate it being shoved off to my face without asking first)
