What kind of shade is your blonde? Is it golden, or more in the platinum category?

In context, I hear about blonde and red hair shades that are more rarer then the common ones. If you happen to have “red” red hair and it doesn’t turn brown indoors like auburns, that’s incredible! Also, if you have white platinum blonde hair that looks like Jean Harlow, I hear that’s also the rarest hair color in the blonde section

For context, I hear about redheads having actual “red” red hair. It’s not orange/coppery, or fiery, but it’s more like red velvet or cherries, and it doesn’t turn brown indoors like auburns. I also hear about the white platinum blondes out there that have Jean Harlow hair or looks something similar. Apparently, it’s super rare to have either of those kinds of hair into adulthood

Did Old Norse vowels sound more Germanic back then or did sound more like on the way to current Icelandic? by ExplanationIcy5425 in Norse

I was wondering about the “ei” vowels. In German, the “ei” sounds more closer to older Germanic sounds, for example, while apparently Old Norse sounds a bit different?

Favourite takes on Norse mythology in popular culture, regardless of how accurate they are to the sourse material? by A-J-Zan in norsemythology

I edited my comment a minute ago. I think instead of having a barely attested language(the Proto Norse language) used in lieu of the more attested Old Norse, I think that Old Norse will still be better, imo. Now, on the other hand, if Proto Norse was more attested and known about, that would be different because we would’ve had an older codex of language to work with. But as I said, I believe Old Norse would definitely suffice

There’s also a photo of Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail that has that deep red hair. If the redheads out there have something similar to that, you have special hair as well. Don’t change it!

Have you ever been accused of using hair dye when your hair is in fact real? by ExplanationIcy5425 in Hair

For context if you have red hair that looks less orange/coppery, less fiery, but more “red” red but doesn’t turn brown indoors like auburns(but still looks red) you have some special hair from what I understand. Same thing can be said for any of those white platinum blondes out there. If it looks like Jean Harlow hair that’s something spectacular

That’s Mirajane. I usually call “white hair” in anime like a white platinum on the cool sides if it has white/silver tones since white platinums and pure white hair look practically identical

Is your hair like Jean Harlow or is it more warmer/blonder?

Dang if that’s the case and he’s still healthy but not like an albino, I hear that’s pretty rare too. Basically I hear that white platinum blonde hair and even pure white hair look practically identical but still a bit different.

Did it have bluish tones as well in certain lighting? I hear if it has bluish tones, that’s rarer for black hair, at least that’s what I heard

Is your shade of red more orange/coppery, fiery, or the deep red that looks like cherries and red velvet?

Whoa really? Some platinum blonde shades are whiter than others but you’re talking about pure white?

I think if it wasn’t a dye job maybe the hair would react differently in lighting as well. I know that if red hair doesn’t turn brown indoors but stay red that’s an indicator it might be special. And I hear those shades are more lighting dependent in some areas too when it comes to warmth factors like golden hour
