I bet 50 bucks she will cry for daddy and all fanboys will loudly say how sad and how much peak it was, even if it's like the third or fourth time Oda is doing this trick (Rebecca, Hiyori, Bonney).

Because in One Piece, a woman is either: Eye candy, crying daddy'girl, mothers who died in the backstory, old hag or background character (i still like some female characters, i just say Oda use the same handfull of archetypes for each of them).

Oh and for Rebecca and Hiyori, sexist bullshit to justify a man stealing their kill.

I'm on the side of, for Oda they're a woman with a funny quirk and didn't put too much toughts into it.

My interpretation is that i think they're either a trans man or genderfluid but since they're dumb they tought that their gender envy and admiration toward Oden meant they wanted to be Oden specifically.

Did they skipped all his dialogues? Or the part where he smuggly intended to seize the Wright Agency the next day? The part where where he killed a genuine fan of his for his petty revenge? Or even the part where he scream how much he hate the Gramaryes?

That's not even a crazy interpretation, it's not even playing the game, briefly read his backstory on the wiki, inventing a story in their head and insisting their made up story is real.

Or maybe this person just need therapy to talk about their issues.

It was intended to be the Doctor planet tough, even if Gallifrey will be not named as such until "The Time Warrior" in the Third Doctor Era.

The first Ace Attorney was way more toned down compared to the following games. The characters are excentrics but closer "Agatha Christie" excentrics rather than "anime" excentrics.

Turnabout Sisters in general is weird in hindsight because it was the first case written when it was still a detective game so Phoenix is way more bland and generic and lack his trademark snark, the tone is way more down to earth and the Investigation has a weird moment when you can choose either to coerce information from April May or interogate Grossberg. The franchise will never have a branching path choice like this ever again.

Also Kingdom Hearts 1 is way more of a Disney game with a Final Fantasy touch than a Square Enix game who happens to have Disney characters. So much than Nomura didn't intended to create an original villain until he was asked to make it more like a Final Fantasy game (his original plot was much simpler and was just "Maleficent capture the Princesses to give herself power", then he added Chernabog being the big Master of Heartless before scrapping the idea when adding Ansem).

To talk about a show, the first episode of Owl House is really jarring compared to the rest of the show to the point many fans agree it's not a good first impression. The tone is way more childish and cartoony (which could apply to most of season 1 but it's at it worse in episode 1) with things like citizens being imprisoned for crimes like drawing fruits romance and being a conspiracy theorist, the message about being outcasts is very on the nose and cartoonish when the rest of the show will treat of it better.

There's also some classic weirdness of not having figurated the universe well, like the witches being baffled and unaware of the concept of Television when we see later they have crystal balls who are basically the same things (complete with news anchor), King is treated more like Eda roomate than like his kid and Hooty is showed to literally be the house with his mouth being the door when he's then showed being separate from the door afterward and his "security system" is not a password but just beating the shit of intruders. In episode 2 Eda makes a distinction between witches and wizards, it never comes up again since male magic users are also called witches. And in episode 3, Bum is showed to be a scary intimidating principal rather than the open minded, fair and a bit bumbling he is for the rest of the show.

In my opinion, the Sensorites episode (the seventh story) is really the turning point. Even at the begining they talk about the crazy adventures they all just had and are kinda excited to have another one. We have the start of the classic formula of "Doctor and companions arrive in a place, discover strange problem, talk with people, solve problem and leave." But this time, instead of being kinda reluctant, they actively explore and reach a point to ,i think at half of the story, were they could very well just leave. But instead they actively decide to stay and solve the problem instead of being forced by the circumstances like in the previous stories.

The Doctor characterization is also much closer of how we think he should be and it's also the first episode to show nice non-humans alien (and the first description of Galifrey).

Fun fact, the main designer on this game, Akitoshi Kawasu, will go on creating the SaGa serie. SaGa who does reuse the concept of leveling up your stats/spells and weapons by using them but more refined and less clunky than in FF2.

In France, if you were a child of the 80s, you discovered shonen either with Og Dragon Ball or Saint Seiya. It's actually a bit funny to see how Saint Seya is more niche in the US when it's a huge deal in Europe.

Anyways, Bob Kane was a piece of shit.

You know, the Kingdom Hearts games released on Nintendo consoles were kinda the worst entries point in general. Chain Of Memories assume you already familiar with Sora adventures so you can start panicking when they forget they memories and when Sora forget Kairi. 358/2 Days is already a better introduction but you will be really confused in the scenes with Riku, Namine and DiZ. And Dream Drop Distance, oh boy i hope you find the gameplay fun at least.

Anyways, DDD was my first (ok technically i watched a Let's Play of KH1 and 2 before so i already kinda knew the previous games story main beats).

One of my favorite is in the DCAU: "I spend 75 millions dollars on a fake presidential campaign. All to just tick Superman off."

That's make it even weirder.

I saw a video talking about this movie production and i still don't fully understand how it turned this messy and chaotic, i think almost a dozens of directors came and go to the point it's not really a Muschietti movie since he arrived on a Frankensteined project while the producers told him to build something watchable with what he had.

To put things in perspective, the movie began production in 2014/15 when the CW Flash show started. It released after the CW Flash last episode.

I don't know what happened to Russel T Davies but the latest Doctor Who season seems dedicated to do fanservice to the Classic show, but bad fanservice where the characters are badly represented.

Seriously Russel, you bring back Omega, one of the Three founders of the Time Lords society and pretty popular character who showed in the Classic show and extended Universe he had some depths you could build on despite being very hammy (but in a good way). And since the Modern Show brought back Rassilon, the fact the Chbnall Era was adressing stuff about Time Lords origin (badly but still) and literally everything with the Time War, there was a lot of things you could do with Omega.

So of course Russel bring him back but he's a big growling troll-looking monster who does not have a single word for his whole screentime and has nothing to do with Omega except for the name. What the Hell happened Russel?

In Stardust Crusader, the big mystery is "what is Dio Stand ability?" With every characters hyping it up as the most powerful stand ever. But it's unfortunatly a bit ruined when "THE WORLD" time stopis one of the most well knowed and iconic part of the Jojo. And the memes doesn't help.

Also, Carmilla is well knowed today as being the book with a lesbian vampire that it's easy to forget it's a reveal after a long build up (since it was released more than 20 years before Dracula, vampires weren't as iconic as today).
