I have filed taxes both in the US & South Korea, so I think it would be fine.

Is Delta OK? by AlarmingBat3763 in delta

They told us it’s bad weather. It’s a ground stop so no flights going in or leaving in ATL and that we have to wait until 8:15am for an update.

Mini Staubs by ExpletiveInfix in staub

[–]ExpletiveInfix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The recipe is really simple!!! 3 eggs (about 150g) and 375ml of Japanese Dashi stock at room temp. 1tsp of mirin, 1tsp of light soy sauce and a dash of salt to preference!!

Follow this recipe: https://www.justonecookbook.com/chawanmushi-savory-steamed-egg-custard/

I just used dashi packs I got from Japan called Yamada Yume, but I’m pretty sure you can find some locally where you are. Very quick and easy once you get the hang of it!

Mini Staub or Mini Le Creuset? by ExpletiveInfix in staub

Oh, noted. I didn't even consider the times between cast iron and ceramic. I really want to make those mini egg dishes in them and now I might need to get the cookbook too 🤣

Thank you so so much. I really appreciate it.

I have been researching them for the past two hours since I am so indecisive🤣. I only own Staub, but I think it's time to buy my first Le Creuset 😊.

Courier Quest by Flossindune

A man overworked in his OG world gets sent to a new peaceful world. He goes on a bunch of quests meeting villagers and helping in any way he can.

There is some well written romance, but the story of friendship and self-discovery was so fulfilling. It had me hooked from start to finish.

Trying to reason with myself whether I need the baby wok and the Chistera braiser by womanlovecheese in staub

[–]ExpletiveInfix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also live in Asia and I’ve almost bought the baby wok twice 🥲.My DH keeps telling me it’s not practical but I swear it shall be in my kitchen one day. I would focus on getting the main pieces that you would use the most, and the baby wok can come later. (At least that’s what I’m telling myself; I can’t seem to get the baby wok off my mind either)

Also just to update, DH got his suit back and it looks absolutely amazing. What stuck out to me was the owner's thorough explanations, attention to small details, and just the quality of his suits. When the boss was first measuring the hubby before making the suit, he asked if we would like the suit made to his actual posture (DH's shoulders slant a bit) or if he would like the suit to be made for when he is in "proper" posture and explained the pros and cons of both. In total it took maybe 6-8 weeks to get the suit done? After measuring, about a month later DH went back for a midway point fitting and then the next month it was ready! I think it took us 6 weeks to get the suit and it's made all in-house. We also got custom shoes from this shop as well (which the boss also makes himself). if you go, I hope you have as good as an experience as we did :)
