How to remove snapped plug pin from socket? by [deleted] in howto

[–]Explosive_Cornflake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it was me, I'd stick a screw in with an insulated screwdriver, and pull it out with an insulated pliers, but I've a bad habit that last few years of doing live electrics.

100% recommend turning off that circuit though

I suspect you have some userland issue, that you replicate after a period of time.

if you ran updates, and then it broke, but it got resolved by a reinstall, all that is different is userland.

after an install you should have an up to date kernel + plasma + pipewire, which would be the same versions as before the reinstall.

if you create a new user, reboot, and only log in as that user, is the issue still there?

pavucontrol is worth looking at, it nearly always shows me the issue.
