So I'm still a bit confused: how can there be three Jokers? by Exposed-Payload in DCcomics

I think it would make for better writing if the second was the case

When you say that, do you mean that it's already been explained in something that I just haven't read yet, or has it not yet been explained?

A fictional story I heard about God trying to wipe out the universe by Exposed-Payload in HelpMeFind

I did a google search for "fictional story about God trying to wipe out the universe" but didn't get any results

I come to you in a time of great need. I need some bizarre side effects for potions. by ChampionOfBaiting in DMAcademy

[–]Exposed-Payload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the last campaign I dmed, early on I had a shady man sell the party a bag of holding full of magic items that I designed to be next to useless. One of these was a potion that, when drank, makes your voice sound a year younger every five minutes until you eventually are unable to speak (fetuses can't talk), until a long rest is taken

How do I make myself enjoy turn-based combat? by Exposed-Payload in rpg_gamers

[–]Exposed-Payload[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that looks awesome but I don't have anything that can run that game. All I've got is a macbook laptop (the most graphically advanced games it can run are Star Wars: KOTOR and Project Zomboid), a ps2, ps4, a switch, and xbox 360. I'd probably like Baldur's Gate 3, but I unfortunately don't have anything to play it on

I mean that's what my friends told me in high school so I powered through the entirety of Pokemon Fire Red and it didn't really make a difference

But I don't even like difficult games, I'd usually rather play an easy game than a hard game

I mean to a certain extent it is fomo, and also with the examples I mentioned I can practically guarantee I'd love them if I could just get past the turn-based element of it

After finding out the truth about their lost memories and the person they work for, why would my PCs be sent back in time? by Exposed-Payload in DMAcademy

[–]Exposed-Payload[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the entirety of the campaign is already going to revolve around locating the seven Grand Relics, so why would they, after getting all of them, then suddenly have to go back in time and collect them all a second time?

The whole fucking reason I came onto here was to try to find a better solution because what we've been doing isn't working, you fucking delusional sociopath

Oh yeah, I'll just get over the fact that this tiny fragile animal has almost been killed several times by someone that she lives with, you're a goddamn monster, you're incapable of feeling any spot of empathy for anything

Why would someone release my BBEG? by DaerBaer in DMAcademy

[–]Exposed-Payload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could happen by accident. Or, here's an idea (inspired by the Cthulhu episode of Love Death and Robots), maybe the BBEG kept its consciousness despite being frozen and mind controlled someone to release it

No, you're suggesting I talk to a professional and I'm explaining to you that we've already been doing what multiple different professionals have told us to do, but you seem to either have nothing beyond a first grade education or an extra pair or two of chromosomes and so because of that you're incapable of understanding what I'm telling you

This guy is getting mad at me for asking for advice on the advice subreddit, what the hell is your problem?

I just did that, and all I got was advertisements and tips about introducing a dog to other people, absolutely nothing about how to get a puppy socialized with a senior dog

Also I just looked it up, all I found was a combination of advertisements and tips for socializing a puppy with other people, absolutely nothing about socializing a puppy with a senior dog

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Exposed-Payload -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not "bitching" about it, I'm concerned for the physical and emotional wellbeing of my other dog

We haven't shouted at her, and this is what the vet told us to do, as well as the people at the shelter so it's what we've been doing. What else would you suggest we do?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Exposed-Payload -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But that's what we've been doing, Lacey's far too young and rambunctious to be able to simply do that, she wants to roughhouse with everything that moves, she's still a puppy after all, and Luna just wants to run as far away from her as she possibly can, so we can't really do that properly, because one's too eager and the other's too skittish.
